If one wants to argue, this is a repetition of the previous view. The answer to that is: Without the ability, this future arising is impossible. This is what is said, without the ability to be born, the future consciousness arising is impossible. The meaning here is that if in the future time, consciousness will arise, then at that time, relying on the consciousness that will arise, the special and the basis object with specialness will be established. However, since there is no ability in the present, it is impossible for it to arise, so it is unreasonable to express it relying on the name of what will arise. In order to show this through explanation, it is said "sometimes" etc. "If it changes" means if the future consciousness arises. "It will arise" means saying that consciousness will arise from that. After showing it universally like this, in order to show the particularity, it is said "Therefore, this" etc. In order to show that it is the same as the example to be proven, it is said "Through this" etc. "Through this" means that since the future consciousness is not established, it is said that the ability is not established. "Rice sprout" etc. means that if the ability of the wall is established here, then the rice sprout etc. will arise is established. However, since the future rice sprout etc. is not established, the ability relying on it is also not established, so the rice sprout etc. changing is impossible, which is the same as what is to be proven. In this way, by showing that consciousness is impossible, therefore there is no ability, now in order to show that even if there is ability, the consciousness with the nature of depending on others is not truly established, it is said "Furthermore" etc. "The establishment of mutual dependence" means that relying on consciousness, ability is established, and relying on ability, consciousness is established. "Sages say it is not established" means that the wise say that anything established by mutual dependence is not established. Because any self-nature is not dependent on others, because it is not artificial. Anything dependent

That which has is not self-existent, because it is artificial. Therefore, whatever is established by mutual dependence is considered not to be unestablished. In order to be shown by the commentator, "consciousness" and so on are said. What is meant by relying on each other is that if there is consciousness, there is the power of consciousness; if there is the power of consciousness, then whatever arises from consciousness depends on each other's meaning. If it can be like that, then, so-called "if it can be like that" is to allow to rely on each other's meaning. In order to exemplify that relying on each other's meaning does not have self-existence, "for example" and so on are said. For example, long and short, etc., do not have long, etc., by their own nature, but they exist in relation to each other, and it will be the same here. Therefore, in order to explain that because self-existence does not have self-existence, it is impossible for self-existence to be established in dependent things, so it is only admitted that there is no self-existence. "If it is like this" and so on are said. As it is said in the Four Hundred, etc., does not do anything slightly, because it is impossible to become a cause. Because there is no cause established by self-existence, therefore, because of the reason related to the production of fruit, the nature of the cause is obtained, how can things not become the fruit of their own fruit? If it becomes a fruit, then like sprouts and so on, where is there permanence? In this way, since the form of the object of cause and effect is uncertain, both are also not established by their own nature. If there is a cause of the fruit, then it exists, just like if there is a seed, a sprout will grow, but not if there is a sprout. Therefore, if you say that it will not become a fruit, that is also not right. Because, if you completely think about the thing called seed before the sprout is produced, then has it become a cause, or has it not become a cause? Because there is no third possibility, it will not go beyond these two complete investigations. Among them, let's say that it has not become a cause, such as fire, etc.
