Furthermore, it is said, "for the sake of placing," etc. "For the sake of placing" means for the purpose of placing the non-Buddhist proponents. "Even though separated from the view of the aggregates," means even though one has become separated from the view of self and what belongs to self. "Like my teaching and I," means that at that time, in that era, it will become something great, and "After my nirvana, my teaching will remain until this time," and so forth. Just as the Dharma is taught through the view of self and what belongs to self, similarly, stating that things without inherent existence exist is for the purpose of leading those worldly people who cling to things as being true into the Middle Way. Therefore, the Four Hundred says: "For those who seek that nature, at first it is taught that everything exists, later, when the meanings are understood, selflessness is itself peaceful." In order to explain that through commentary, it is said, "the view of the aggregates," etc. "All" means including the predispositions. If asked, why is it taught through the way of "I" and "mine"? It is said that the expression "I" and "mine" is a method for the world to comprehend, so it is stated, this is a method for understanding past birth stories, etc. "Merely showing that it exists," means merely showing that all things exist. "Because it is a method for the world to comprehend," is because it is a method for worldly people to comprehend emptiness. In this way, by showing the aggregates and elements, etc., the clinging to self is reversed, because one will think that only the aggregates exist, and here there is no self at all, thus the clinging to self is reversed. When the clinging to self is reversed, in order to avert the clinging to external objects, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, said: "O sons of the Victorious Ones, these three realms are only mind." When the clinging to external objects is reversed, in order to abandon the clinging to the mere existence of consciousness, "That which arises from conditions, that is not an arising, in that

Like me, it is born. Existence itself is not so. And so on, this is the teaching of the Middle Way. Therefore, in order to be a method understood by the world, it is said that "all exists" is the ultimate word. In order to indicate the source of the sutra from that, it is said as follows, etc. If the guides of the world, that is, those who show the way to the world, do not conform to the world, then no one will know the Buddha Bhagavan, nor will they know the Dharma he taught. If they do not conform to the world, because it does not conform to the thoughts of the disciples, they will not listen to the Dharma, and therefore they will not know the Buddha and the Dharma. Now, in order to widely show the conduct in accordance with the world, aggregates and realms, etc., it is said as follows, etc. Aggregates, realms, and sources are of the same nature, because all are without self-nature. Even so, the distinctive self-nature of aggregates, realms, and sources, and the teachings of desire, form, and formlessness, etc., are all conduct in accordance with the world. The nameless dharmas, etc., because self-nature is empty, are not the objects of discrimination and speech, so all the dharmas of aggregates, realms, and sources are unspeakable. And with the unspeakable dharmas, through the inconceivable collection of names, all that is spoken to sentient beings, this is conduct in accordance with the world. Showing the absence of reality, etc., is to say that the Buddhas Bhagavan who have entered into the emptiness of self-nature, their things do not exist, the nature of things not abiding in the second moment, that is, showing impermanence, and the things that do not abide in the second moment do not exist, because the things themselves are not established. What is shown as impermanence is in accordance with the world. Cessation is the ultimate truth.

The so-called "ground" refers to cessation, which has the nature of nirvana. The meaning of the noble ones is the most supreme, and therefore it is also called "meaning." The so-called "ground" also refers to the meaning that should be sought by those who seek the meaning of nirvana. The so-called "not observing meaning and non-meaning" means that cessation does not observe those non-real meanings, because they are false. Nevertheless, the declaration of cessation is to conform to the world. The so-called "without destruction" and so on means that beings are neither born nor destroyed, just as those with cataracts see illusions such as hair, because there is no birth from the beginning. Therefore, it is said "equal to the realm of phenomena." It means that because its nature is emptiness. Nevertheless, showing that the end of the eon is burned by fire is to conform to the world. The so-called "in the three times" and so on refers to the past, present, and future, although the nature of beings is not determined, but showing the realm of beings, that is, lineage, is to conform to the world. Thus, the declaration of Alaya-vijnana is to show that it has a hidden meaning. Now, in order to refute the views of the Mind-Only school, the former view is first elaborated, that is, the declaration of "therefore" and so on. The so-called "as the Madhyamaka school is declared" refers to the school that has no birth from the beginning and is not the nature of anything. The so-called "unbearable" means unsustainable. The so-called "the school of imputation by one's own discrimination, through the door of speech" means that all dharmas exist in the nature of consciousness, and the establishment imputed by one's own discrimination is refuted in this way. The so-called "by those who establish meanings" refers to establishing forms and other dharmas as the nature of consciousness. The so-called "to clarify the school that has been said in this way, it is said": Because of the present inclination, the mind abides in equanimity, The fully enlightened Buddha, inclines to the Dharma, This is dependent origination.
