In the Sutra of the Heap of Jewels, it says: 'Good Guardian, if someone clings to a self as large as Mount Meru and possesses great pride, then they cannot realize emptiness.' Why is that? Good Guardian, emptiness is the ultimate liberation from all views. If someone only clings to emptiness, I say they are incurable. Good Guardian, for example, if someone becomes ill and a doctor gives them medicine, and that medicine eliminates all their diseases, but they keep the medicine in their stomach and do not excrete it. Good Guardian, what do you think? Can that person be liberated from their illness?' They replied: 'World Honored One, no. If the medicine that can eliminate all diseases remains in the stomach and is not excreted, then that person's illness will become even more severe.' The World Honored One said: 'Good Guardian, similarly, emptiness is the ultimate liberation from all views. If someone only clings to emptiness, I say they are incurable.' Thus, in order to explain that there is no arising from other in the ultimate truth, and further to explain that there is also no arising in the conventional truth, the previous view is presented, that is: 'Here it is said' etc. 'Here' refers to the occasion of no arising. 'Others say' refers to the fact that in the ultimate truth, it is not admitted that there is arising from self and other, this is the conclusion. 'Objects of direct perception and inference' refers to, those that can directly generate knowledge are objects of direct perception, and those that cannot directly generate knowledge and need to be understood through other means are objects of inference. Similarly, feelings etc. that belong to one's own continuum are objects of direct perception, and those that belong to others' continuum are objects of inference. 'It will definitely arise from other' refers to the fact that worldly direct perception etc. recognize that it arises from other. 'If you do not think so' refers to, if you do not think that it arises from other. 'Why speak of the two truths' refers to, why speak of arising from other in the conventional truth.

Because there is not, therefore from the beginning it is the nature of no birth, only emptiness remains, therefore the two truths are not reasonable, it will become only one ultimate truth. "Because" means because it is not just one truth, therefore birth from another is existent, this is the former view. "This is to be explained" etc. is the answer. "This is true though" means why are the two truths spoken. "In order to show that", it said "In the ultimate" etc. If analyzed by reason, because birth from self and other is not established, therefore abiding in the nature of no birth, only emptiness, therefore in the ultimate there are not two truths, this is the conclusion. In order to show that, to cite the source of the sutra, it said "Bhikkhus" etc. "Nirvana" means the characteristic of all discriminations being pacified, is the nature of emptiness. "All formations" means the aggregates etc. "False" means the non-existent appears to exist, therefore it is the nature of deception. Therefore it is the nature of deception. If the ultimate truth is only one, then only one truth should be spoken, why are two truths spoken? The answer is it said "Because" etc. "Because" means if examined and analyzed, it will be established that the ultimate truth is one. "Because it is the method of entering the ultimate" means if the conventional truth with the characteristics of worldly knowledge, knowable, speakable and speaker is not admitted, the ultimate truth cannot be shown, and if it is not shown, it cannot be realized, therefore the conventional truth is the method of realizing the ultimate truth. "In the worldly way" means in the worldly terms. "Birth from self and other is admitted without analysis" means if analyzed, birth from self and other will not be established. In order to show that, it said "For example" etc. Because things, i.e. form and feeling etc., if analyzed, i.e., is it born from self or

If it is examined that it arises from elsewhere, then it arises from a thing with self-nature, so it is impossible to find it residing on the side that is far from the ultimate nature, which has the characteristic of no arising and ceasing, because only the ultimate nature resides. For the truth of worldly conventions, that is, "this exists, then that arises," only in worldly conventions, the conventional truth is called "truth," and should not be examined separately. In order to explain it through interpretation, "Thus" and so on are spoken. The so-called "this shore" refers to the objects of the conventional truth, which have the nature of arising and so on. The so-called "dependent on others" is to follow the worldly conventions. The so-called "Aryadeva" comes from the Four Hundred Verses. The so-called "how" and so on, just as those barbarians who do not understand other languages express themselves in their own language, so too, for worldly people, it is possible to reveal the suchness through the establishment of worldly things. However, some wise people, if they do not enter the worldly conventions, cannot generate the realization of the illusory nature of self and phenomena, the inexpressible ultimate nature. If one enters like the worldly conventions, then one can generate the realization of illusion. If one enters the realm of illusion, then one can grasp the ultimate, extremely inexpressible dharma. Therefore, it is necessary to determine the order of entry of how to reveal, just like those children who are not proficient in language. For example, just as young children cannot understand other languages, so too are the beings of each world. Therefore, because this is the method of entering the world, the Bhagavan declared existence and non-existence. This shows that in the ultimate truth, there is only one truth, and the conventional truth is revealed without examination, because this is the method of entering the world. In order to reveal the source of the fundamental wisdom of this meaning, "also in the treatise" and so on are spoken. If the ultimate is the nature of non-proliferation
