Because the very nature is beyond seeing. "Those" means the Buddhas. In order to answer them, it is said, "Indeed," etc., in order to accomplish the object by means of non-objectification, in order to indicate the source of the sutra. It is said, "As it is said," etc. The special mention of "in the ultimate sense" is because it is spoken in conventional terms. "If it becomes the nature of the objects of body, speech, and mind," means becoming the object of experience of what is touched by the body, what is spoken by speech, and what is cognized by the mind. "It does not enter into the category of the ultimate truth," because the objects of cause and effect are unreasonable, and it is unreasonable for Suchness, which is free from existence and non-existence, etc., to become the nature of an object, and therefore it is also unreasonable to grasp it. "It becomes the conventional truth," because by the power of ignorance it appears as the object of grasping and being grasped. "Transcending all terms" means that in the ultimate sense, the words Suchness, ultimate truth, emptiness, and true limit are not the objects of terms. "Without distinction" means that it does not possess distinctions such as blue, yellow, permanent, and impermanent. "Unborn" means without birth. Therefore, it is unceasing. In order to indicate the reason for transcending the two terms, it is said, "Speakable," etc., which is to say that it is not the object of sound and discrimination. It transcends the supreme of all kinds and the realm of the omniscient wisdom that possesses all perfections, it is separate from the realm of the omniscient wisdom that possesses qualities such as power and fearlessness, because for things that are free from the four extremes, the object of the realm is unreasonable, and the trainees have realized Suchness through omniscience, therefore it is an examination of the object of the realm. "It is not as it is said, 'How is it the ultimate truth?'" refers to that.

It is not as expressed by terms such as Suchness, the ultimate limit, and ultimate truth, because the term Suchness is not an object of conceptualization. If it is said that emptiness is not different from all phenomena, then would all phenomena become Suchness? The answer to that is that all phenomena are false, deceptive phenomena, and so on. All phenomena refer to the aggregates and so on. False means not true. Deceptive phenomena means deceiving, because all phenomena are deceptive, therefore they are false and not ultimately true. Therefore, ultimate truth cannot be expressed as being one or different. In order to elaborate on the words "should be spoken" and "speaking," it is said, "Son of the gods," and so on. "Who speaks" means the speaker. "What is spoken" means what is the object of sounds and conceptualizations, etc. "To whom is it spoken" means to which listener. "Unborn" means because the objects of cause and effect are not reasonable. "Therefore" means because of being unborn. "Permanent" means because it is not interrupted. "Eternal" means because the nature itself exists at all times. "Impermanent" means because it has the nature of destruction in each moment. "Empty" means because it is separated from self-ownership. "Non-empty" means because of self-ownership. Regarding "characteristic" and "basis," for example, the appearance in the place of the nature of color and shape is the basis, and hardness is the characteristic. "Birth and cessation, etc." The word "etc." should include going and coming, etc. "Not existent" is easy to understand. Why is that? Because its own essence is not observed. Because from the perspective of reason, non-existent things are unreasonable, therefore its own essence is not observed. Only Suchness that transcends thought is reliable.
