Its objects and the objects of possession are those where objects and objects of possession are not perceived. It is said, "What is seen is false, the conventional truth." This means that what is seen as false is due to not realizing the non-inverted suchness, and clinging to false things. What is the object of these? It is the conventional. In order for the commentary to explain this, it is said, "In this, the two truths," etc. Here, "in this" refers to the state of the conventional and the ultimate. "By the very object of the distinction of wisdom" means that the distinction of wisdom is the abandonment of afflictions and cognitive obscurations, together with their predispositions. By the very door of that object, one attains one's own nature, that is, by the door of non-apprehension of duality, what is experienced is of a nature free from all elaboration. This is the concluding statement. The statement "It is by that object that one attains one's own essence" is also stated in this way because those to be tamed contemplate it in this way. However, in the state of ultimate reality, there is not even a little bit of object and object of possession. The statement "It is not established by its own nature" means that it is not established in the nature of existence, non-existence, both, or neither. The statement "This is the nature" is the nature of the ultimate truth. The statement "The other" is the conventional truth. The statement "It is not transformed by its own nature into such a nature as it is" means that it is as individual ordinary people contemplate things as existing or non-existing, etc., but such a nature does not exist, because existence and non-existence, etc., are not reasonable. The statement "It is apprehended" means that those natures exist by way of realization. The statement "Of that" is of suchness. The statement "The own nature is to be explained" means that the nature of that will be explained, such as "hairs seen by the power of cataracts," etc. Now, in order to show the distinctions of the conventional truth, it is said, "Therefore, thus," etc. The statement "Having established the two truths" means true and false.

From the perspective of what is seen, the truth is divided into two. "For false views" refers to worldly people. "From correct views and false views themselves" is easy to understand. If someone asks, since the phrase "conventional truth of false views" says that worldly people see everything as false, how can they have correct views? The answer is that this is relative to the noble ones, because in the eyes of the noble ones, everything is false. Even if it is false relative to the noble ones, for worldly people, due to the power of variations such as blurred vision, and the false views and correct views that arise from being separated from this, exist because they cling to what is true and untrue. It is not like that relative to the noble ones, so there is no fault. "Because there are two" means that there are correct and false views. "The meaning taken by this" refers to the meaning taken by what is correct and false. "Knowledge" refers to grasping. "The two themselves" refers to having the nature of what is correct and false. "Wanting the two" is in order to show the two, therefore it is said "clear sense faculties and sense faculties with defects." Among these, clear sense faculties refer to the eye and other sense faculties that have not been disturbed by internal blurred vision, etc., and external rapidly spinning torches, etc., and the mental sense faculty that has not been disturbed by evil treatises, etc. Sense faculties with defects refer to the opposite of this. "Relying on the good transformation of sense faculties" refers to relying on the knowledge that is separate from the defects of sense faculties. Among these, "those with clear sense faculties," etc., are to show that internal confusion is separate from its cause. "Such and such external," etc., are to show that external confusion is separate from its cause. "Such and such external object" refers to external things as they are. "Those that are the opposite of this" refers to the situation of having the causes of internal and external confusion. "Similarly, the object is also like that" refers to the object having the nature of what is correct and false.
