That which exists refers to earth and appearances, and so on. That which arises refers to sprouts and eye consciousness, and so on. That which is co-emergent and that which arises later, and so on, wherein co-emergent, for example, mind and mental factors, and so on, are considered to be mutual causes. That which arises later, and so on, for example, those who at all times assert the existence of things, consider the future that has become a thing to be the cause of consciousness. These are also included within these, which means that, as previously stated, they are included within the cause of the cause and the condition of autonomy, and as stated later, they are included within the condition of autonomy. That which is independent, and so on, is not a condition, and the word "etc." should include the chief, the self, and so on. Those are permanent, and because they contradict the production of results, those are not conditions. Thus, in order to state the aforementioned view of arising from others, and in order to show the answer, "This is" and so on were said. "Because it contradicts reason and scripture" means that it contradicts reason and scripture. "Relying on another" means relying on the seed. "If another will arise" means that the sprout will arise. "Is that seen?" means that it is not seen that thick darkness arises from the flame. "It is also not reasonable" means that there is harm from direct perception. "This is" means that it arises from another. "Therefore" means that it is unreasonable to arise from another. "Cause and" and so on refers to the nature of cause and effect. "Difference" is that it will never be reasonable. Because that is only a promise, in order to show reasonableness, "Cause and" and so on were said. If cause and effect are truly different, then at that time the sprout does not depend on the seed, and because it does not depend on the cause, the effect will arise, just like a pot and cloth. Therefore, it will be the same as a non-cause, but that is not the case. Therefore, the cause cannot truly be another. Thus, contradiction arises from contradiction.

Starting with "refuting faults," in order to point out other faults, it says "furthermore," etc. The so-called "from everything" refers to things like coal from flames and barley seeds. The so-called "everything" refers to things like rice sprouts, vases, and felt. In order to show the reason for its establishment, it says "why is it" etc. Just as the fire that wants to produce smoke is different from the smoke, so too are seeds different from the fruits produced from seeds, etc. In order to address the doubts of others, it says "what is said here," etc. The so-called "because it is definitely seen" means that it is seen that rice sprouts come from rice seeds, but not from barley seeds. Therefore, there is no fault of everything arising from everything. In order to show this, it says "this certainty is this," etc. The so-called "able to do completely" means that what is able to be done is called a result, so rice seeds can only produce rice sprouts, but not barley sprouts, so they only produce rice sprouts. That which is able to produce a result, even if it is different, is still a cause. Therefore, it will not be a fault that what does not produce becomes a cause, because it does not have the ability to produce a result from it. The so-called "same continuum" means that rice sprouts arise from the cause of rice, but not from the cause of barley seeds. Therefore, the so-called "from the producer" means only from the previous moment, but not from the later moment of the non-producer. The so-called "not like that" means that it does not arise. The so-called "in the meaning of ability" means in the meaning of being able to do. The so-called "having the तृतीया suffix" means that in Indian language, the name of the fruit is called "kara" (梵文天城体:कार,梵文罗马音:kāra,汉语字面意思:迦罗), which has "ra" and "ga" in it, so it is called having the तृतीया suffix. The rest is easy to understand. To answer that, it says "it is not okay," etc., the meaning of the words is easy to understand. The meaning here is that because it would become a fault of everything arising from everything, rice arises from rice seeds.
