This is the remaining part. In the period before or after accomplishment, it does not change into being separate from its own nature, and it becomes an object that always exists. Here also, "Because it exists, it arises." This statement here indicates by stating the reason "because it exists." Showing the reasonableness of this is, "What does not have its own nature?" Or, this is in the sense of "because of what." Because whatever arises from itself, its cause does not depend on others, there is no aspect that is separate from the object and inverted, that is, it does not exist anywhere. Whatever does not depend on others, it always exists, because whatever depends on others sometimes occurs. Therefore, it does not depend on a causeless other, therefore it always exists or does not exist. Things sometimes occur because they depend on others. It has been shown. If someone thinks, if the unaccomplished nature is the object of all things, then it does not exist here like a rabbit's horn, or how are terms such as non-existent things called objects, other objects, or non-objects used? Therefore, since the application of these terms is unreasonable in other ways, it is the very nature of accomplishment. In order to show that the reason is not established, it is stated, "Does the non-existent have its own object?" etc. Whatever has been previously shown by reasoning to not arise, what does its non-existence have as its own object, etc.? These terms are false like dreams, the latter half shows this. Therefore, because one's own objects, etc., are impossible in reality, those terms are false. Furthermore, for those things that are unreasonable like arising and ceasing, and which fully show the nature of objects, the previous reason is also repeated in the opposite way, and in order for the latter half to understand the reason, it is shown to be unestablished. It is stated, "If the object is empty," etc. This noble one is merely one who has the meaning of understanding. Object and non-object do not exist simultaneously.

By the two noble ones, Yava and others, following such a line of reasoning, in order to understand this logic, it is shown to be unestablished, because of what reason, this should be shown in this way, that is, arising and ceasing are said to be things and non-things, and those are also considered by you to be compounded, and not uncompounded. Regarding this, are those non-sequential or sequential? For a moment, non-sequential is not possible, because of what reason? Things and non-things do not exist simultaneously. This is because of contradiction, so it is thought. Therefore, the meaning is this: things and non-things are simultaneous, It is not appropriate to exist at the same time, because it is the nature of existing by mutually abandoning each other. Because, without abandoning the non-existence of blue, the existence of blue is impossible. Sequential is also not possible, because of what reason? If non-things do not exist, things do not exist. This refers to your view. You consider this to be compounded, and as long as the compounded does not possess its characteristics, it is not compounded. Birth, abiding, and impermanence themselves are not the characteristics of each. For space and so on, also because of admitting abiding, it will become compounded. If the aggregate is its characteristic, then even if it has impermanence, other categories of destruction, if non-things do not exist, then they do not exist, that is, the thing of birth with birth will not exist, those for the compounded will only be simultaneous, this refers to this meaning. What will happen from that? Constant things will also become non-things. Thus it is said, the thing itself, that is, the compounded itself, constantly, that is, at the time of birth and abiding, will also become non-things, that is, it will become a fallacy of non-existence, this refers to this meaning. Or, the time of birth itself, without its own action, impermanence itself exists on the thing, and only from the time after abiding does it establish its destruction, therefore is there no fault? There is no fault, thus it is said, if non-things do not exist, then non-existence will not arise. Thus it is said, non-things are things
