There is not, if it does not exist from that, if the destruction established by impermanence does not exist. If this exists, things do not change, because things do not exist, it is impermanence itself, and if that exists, because it does not become a thing. That means it will not happen and will not exist. This is shown like this, whenever anything does its own function, at that time it exists, it is reasonable to say so, because existence is characterized by doing things, and non-existence is characterized by the opposite of that. As it is said, ability is the nature of things, and being separated from all abilities is the nature of non-existence, just like this is shown. If impermanence does not establish the destruction that appears as its own fruit when the nature of things is established, therefore, how can it be said that it exists at that time for this existence as a reason? Therefore, the fault stated by the sentence "Permanent things also become non-things" is unavoidable. Or, if the non-thing itself exists at first? For that, it is also unreasonable, saying "Without things, there are no non-things," etc. Here, non-things refer to the absence of quiescence, not to the absence of previous things, etc., because that is just right. That is also non-existent when the nature of the previously produced thing does not exist, because destruction is the otherness of things. Immediately after saying "no," say "that also," the rest should be removed from the heart, and the nature is. Etc. should be removed. Therefore, the meaning is this: if anything does not exist, things will not become non-existent, that is also not produced from itself by the reason shown earlier, nor is it established from others. Because of what? Because of that, if that does not exist, things do not exist, and non-things do not exist. This relies on the aspect of reason and concludes in two aspects, like this, first is the thing of the nature of the aggregate, and then the thing of the nature of destruction does not exist, if you admit this only aspect, when things are related to birth.
