This assertion that "inherently possessing origination is not established" is established here. Thus, to show that neither the action and the agent themselves, nor the agent and the object themselves, are established here, it is said, "feeling, the feeler, etc." Furthermore, if the feeler, such as the self, which is completely examined by others as distinct from feeling, is utterly non-existent, even then, one should establish this, which is indicated as a reason by assuming blackness, etc., in conventional terms, as something to be compared. Although these are entities that are truly understood by self-awareness and sense perception, they are not to be realized by those who are immeasurable in terms of action and agent themselves, because they are to be realized only in dependence on each other. The entity to be established by the agent is the action; however, if one does not realize the agent itself in relation to what appears as the agent, one cannot realize it. That is because the very ability to establish the action is the agent, so it is only in dependence on the realization of the action that one realizes the agent itself. Therefore, those are to be realized as its entity, from itself. Nor is it from each other, for if that were the case, if one is not established, it is not reasonable for what is not established to be established as something else. Therefore, this reason of feeling and the feeler, which is not established from self and others, is also established in the place where it is said, "inherently possessing origination is not a reason" in terms of occasion. Likewise, the nature of the agent and the object themselves, the seer and what is to be seen themselves, should also be connected as not being able to establish. With these two words, other reasons such as the cook and the cooking, and the listener and what is to be heard themselves, etc., should also be stated in terms of occasion as being devoid of the ability to establish what is to be established, because they are not established by the common reasoning. If any things do not inherently have arising and ceasing, then those are non-existent, and those non-existent things cannot be designated as entering into the three times; however, designation is being made.

Therefore, such wording is inappropriate because they are things that have birth and death. Therefore, if someone thinks that it should be said: "The nature itself is unborn, without cessation, is that not liberation?" In order to show that the three times do not exist, it is said, "The self is not established, does not abide," and so on. Because what is called time, is it something different from things? Is that different thing one? It is not time. For now, it is not a different thing, because the self itself is not the self of things, because one's own nature is not established, because it cannot be understood by measurement. Even if it is admitted that way, it is not one, because it does not abide, so "that is one" is superfluous. Because what is called three forms is not existing in one form. If it is said to be many, that is also unreasonable, because of the two reasons of mutual establishment and confusion. Because the past, present, and future, those things that should be understood in that way, if each one depends on being established from something else, then they are established. Even if the present and future cannot be understood in that way, if the past time cannot be understood, if the nature of the past cannot be understood, then the present and future are not their own nature either. Similarly, it should also be said to others. Therefore, just because of mutual dependence, not even one is established, therefore, how can this be established as the nature of many? These are also confused, like this, relative to the present, what is the present, relative to the past, what is the future, relative to it, this will happen. Relative to the future, it is the past, relative to it, it is the nature of the past. Similarly, in other aspects, also because of the difference of dependence, it is three. Therefore, because of confusion, this many is also not truly established. Therefore, like this, if time outside of things, whether single or multiple, is not established, then, what thing itself will be born
