Then, for worldly people, mind and mental factors with objects are not established, therefore, the mind and mental factors generated by objects, without objects, because it does not exist, if there is no self, then the grasping of self will be established. If someone says: I have not admitted it that way. Then, again, these things are not established for worldly people, what do you not admit? I say: These are established for worldly people, however, worldly people, because of ignorance, will act in a reversed way, in a way that is not true. If someone says: Therefore, I do not admit these of worldly people either. Answer: Here, for those who understand the meaning, does the understanding of the meaning come from holding or from treatises? In this regard, for the time being, worldly people are not valid for you, and the meaning admitted from the treatises also has no ability to establish it for others, therefore, you are not a wise person of the kind who follows the words of people similar to you. Is a wise person through declaring the valid treatises with reason, or through worldly people? If one takes treatises that are merely words without reason as valid, then all treatises will become valid. Therefore, there are no minds and mental factors that do not depend on external objects. If analyzed with reason, external objects are non-existent, therefore, without relying on the meaning of external objects, only mind and mental factors should be admitted. If someone says: Just as you, through analysis, external objects are non-existent, similarly, I, through analysis, mind and mental factors are existent. Just like external objects, the existence of mind and mental factors themselves should be completely abandoned. Again, another person says: All consciousnesses are not with objects, if all consciousnesses were to become with objects, then, the consciousness that focuses on the son of a barren woman would not arise, because there is no object. Then, isn't the name "son of a barren woman" itself present in the object of this consciousness? Why do you say that this has no object? Answer: This is non-existent, when hearing the sound of "son of a barren woman", if this name itself is the object of the consciousness that focuses on the son of a barren woman.
