All phenomena are without inherent existence. In emptiness, all clinging to things as real is a delusion arising from inversion. However, delusion itself is not the ultimate truth. This (emptiness) is neither existent nor nonexistent, and is free from faults. As it is said in the scriptures, understanding dependent origination is understanding the ultimate truth. It is said: This is only a temporary ultimate truth. Relying on conventional terms, the Blessed One taught all phenomena and established them as real. It is like someone who sees something in a dream, and after waking up, knows it was a dream, and then says the dream was real. Today in my dream, many people praised me, and my father also praised me. I sold the garden and gave a thousand gold coins to the Brahmins, and I saw people circumambulating the stupa. Likewise, through the blessing of the Blessed One, the distinctions of arising, abiding, and ceasing, and all things as being without inherent existence, are manifested as if they were real, and are spoken of in conventional terms. If someone clings to the mother, etc., seen in a dream as being real, that clinging is not reasonable. Likewise, inverted ordinary people cling to arising, abiding, and ceasing, etc., but the Buddhas do not. The rest has already been explained. Like Nirvana, the Buddha, the Blessed One, abides in the non-inherent existence of all phenomena. What need is there for elaboration? As it is said in the sutra: "Venerable Ananda, is there any other proliferation beyond the cessation of the six sense bases of contact, being without desire, cessation, pacification, and disappearance?" From "Is there proliferation with the proliferation of existence and non-existence?" to "Venerable Ananda, the six sense bases are proliferation, and there is no proliferation from the cessation of the six sense bases," the Blessed One thus taught Nirvana. By the power of the Tathagata's wisdom, it is the ultimate truth. By the power of the knowledge of worldly people, it is the conventional truth. Therefore: In the conventional truth, the teachings of worldly phenomena are taught without diminishing, and at any time

I have not taught any Dharma. What the Tathagata has spoken is due to ignorance. Therefore, they are afraid of this stainless statement. Therefore, regarding the term "afraid," the word "therefore" refers to all those examined by reason and scripture as mentioned before. One should first look at the worldly truth; therefore, it is called the worldly truth. Here, due to the combination of verses, the order is reversed, which should be noted. Therefore, the meaning here is that because the interdependent origination mentioned before is taught, the false, deceptive Dharma is merely the object of the minds of childish beings, having forms like dreams, illusions, and cities of gandharvas, the results of karma of its nature, whether defiled or purified, the reasons for bondage and liberation, exist in worldly terms, therefore, so that the worldly Dharma will not decline, and because the conventional itself is the original meaning of things, in order to declare the suchness of worldly phenomena without inversion, and also because from declaring this suchness one gradually enters suchness, therefore, the worldly Dharma does not decline. The teaching of the worldly Dharma is also because one does not accept the slightest self-nature of any object, so the expresser, the expressed, and the expresser, etc., are all not established by self-nature. Therefore, in reality, no Dharma has ever been taught. The Tathagata will not cling to any Dharma in a real way and teach it. Therefore, because one does not fully know the self-nature of all Dharmas, the yogi who dwells by completely abandoning the clinging to reality that "this is true" will surely tend towards Nirvana. In this way, because karma exists depending on the two truths, and because there is no conceptualization, the attainment of Nirvana by the yogis will not decline in the slightest, and liberation will only arise quickly and easily. If the inverted ones do not fully understand selflessness, they will enter the side of defilement for the reason of reality because of selflessness, and the non-inverted ones, from seeing selflessness, will return from the side of defilement and also generate the side of purification. That is.
