is the end. Or, if the direct meaning does not match the meaning stated at that time, then this is not a word that agrees with the meaning. Even so, it is said that the nature of the meaning is kept in mind a little. For the time being, this is completely determined. Because those who are not skilled in establishing the two truths cannot understand this meaning well here. Therefore, it should be said that with the wisdom of the two truths as mentioned above, it is possible to clearly combine. Here it is said, if the action and the agent are also blocked, even so, for the time being, the result of the action, such as form, exists, so it cannot be said that form, etc., does not exist. Because in front of everyone's eyes, the coarse and near-perceived form exists, who would say it does not exist? As the Blessed One also said: Monks, form is the external source of birth, the form caused by the four great elements can be indicated and is obstructive. Similarly, monks, touch is the external source of birth, the tangible caused by the four great elements can be indicated and is obstructive. If that does not exist, it will not be said that the four great elements are the cause, and it will not be indicated that it is the cause of birth, because it will not indicate that the flower of the sky, which does not exist, is the cause of birth. Therefore, because the world and the scriptures say that form exists, if form exists, then the root consciousness of attachment to it will arise, and if that exists, then all things will be established in the same way? Answer: If form itself exists, will all things be established by relying on form? It is not existent. How it does not exist has also been elaborated before. In addition, even if it is established that form does not exist because it does not exist, even so, these very coarse and near ones have become places of attachment as they are perceived in front of the eyes. Therefore, in order to deny all sources of birth by eliminating it, it is said again only for the sake of observation: If the nature of birth is form, form is not born from birth, not born from itself, nor born from another.

Isn't it non-existent? If you think like this, since form is manifested in dependence on the four great elements, therefore you say that form exists. Answer: Precisely because of that, hasn't the Bhagavan clearly pointed out that form is without inherent existence? How can one closely observe the fruit, which is similar to the cause, arising in this world? For example, rice arises from rice, wheat arises from wheat, a cow arises from a cow, and a gadfly arises from a gadfly. Similarly, since form also arises from the transformation of the four great elements, if it depends on merely appearing as the nature of the four great elements, then form is not the nature of the four great elements, because its essence is not coarseness, etc., and the four great elements are objects of the body sense, while form is an object of the eye sense. The Bhagavan's statement that form arises with the four great elements as the cause also indicates that what is said contradicts form, and it is for the purpose of making worldly people understand that it is not true. Therefore, these scriptures are not to prove that form exists, but to prove that form does not exist. Therefore, it is said, if the nature of form is the four great elements, then form does not arise from the four great elements. The so-called nature of the four great elements refers to the nature of the cause. The nature of food is life, and the nature of grass is a cow. If the nature of form is the four great elements, that is, form that arises from the four great elements as the cause, then it will not arise from the four great elements, because it does not exist with the nature of the four great elements. If that were the case, it would be impossible for a fruit different from the cause to arise, so it is said that it is not the nature of form, which is easy to understand. If, like this, the essence of cause and effect are different, so even if it does not arise from the nature of form, then it should arise from other things, right? Answer: If form does not arise from its own thing, then at that time it does not exist, because it does not arise from its own thing nor from other things, this is clearly determined. Self-nature depends on other-nature and becomes other-nature, and since self-nature also does not exist, it will not arise from other-nature either. Furthermore, if
