If my things do not exist, then other people's things also do not exist. If one's own things and other people's things do not exist, then separated from whom will one become without things? If one's own things and so on do not exist, then how can the terms of the three realms be explained? It is said: Does the untruth negate the terms of the world? I also said this: If things and so on are analyzed in that way, it is impossible, but worldly people also use it to name, other people's things and one's own things, and the absence of things, therefore it is inverted. Because it depends on the inversion of worldly people, anything can be established. Here it is said: If things are empty, there will be no cessation and no arising. If things are empty, becoming a non-existent state, because it is not existent, it will not arise like a rabbit's horn, and it will not cease either. The Blessed One also spoke of the arising and cessation of things, therefore, because it has arising and cessation, things are not empty. Or think this way: If it is established, it is the existence of self-nature, and that self-nature is also emptiness arising from non-existence. If that is the case, even if self-nature is empty, what will cease and what will arise? If its self-nature does not exist, then like a rabbit's horn, there will be no cessation and arising. Things have arising and cessation, so it should be said that these things have self-nature. If it is established, then one's own things and other people's things will also arise. Here it is said: If there will be arising and cessation, then it becomes the self-nature of things with arising and cessation is established, but those are also non-existent. How to do it? Here, the two observations of arising and cessation can only be observed by relying on things, otherwise it is impossible. If they then enter the things of arising and destruction, do they enter simultaneously or separately? It is impossible to enter in both ways, to show this reason, so it is said: Existence and non-existence cannot exist simultaneously, without things there is no non-thing, constant things and non-things, it is impossible to have things other than non-things. Because it exists, things are born.

Eh'i. Non-thing is destruction. Thing and non-thing are thing and non-thing. Thing and non-thing etc. do not exist, so they are thing and non-thing. For a while, thing and non-thing etc. cannot exist simultaneously, that is, at the same time. Because they contradict each other, they do not exist, so it is not reasonable for one thing to be born and die at the same time, so it is said. Therefore, for a while, thing and non-thing etc. cannot exist simultaneously. Now, in order to gradually and truthfully prove that thing and non-thing etc. do not exist, it is said: If there is no thing, then there is no non-thing. Constant thing and non-thing are also the same. If non-thing enters from outside of thing, then at that time, birth should also enter into space etc. that are separated from destruction. That does not enter. Therefore, if there is no thing, then there is no non-thing. Also, because the nature of conditioned phenomena is impermanent, in the nature of thing, it always changes from thing, for what, this non-existence is not, that is because it is liberated from the nature of thing, existence is also not, so it is said. For this which is reversed from the nature of thing, birth is also intolerable, that is because it is contrary to the nature of thing. Thus, for a while, if there is no thing, then there is no non-thing, in any case, if there is no thing, then non-thing is also unreasonable. Therefore, constant thing and non-thing also do not exist, if they do not exist, it is said that they do not exist, this is related to this. Thing and non-thing are thing existence and thing non-existence, this refers to impermanence. That non-thing is also constantly non-thing, if it does not exist, if it exists, then without birth it will also be completely destroyed. After that, unconditioned phenomena will also change, and the unborn will also die. It is like this, if there is no thing, then non-thing also does not exist. When, non-thing etc. are observed in that way, neither simultaneously nor separately are established, at that time, if the nature of those is not established, then thing will not enter. Or, if thing and non-thing etc. do not enter, even so, for a while its basis thing exists, that
