If it exists somewhere, it is also because of pervasiveness, just like things with directions, it will not depend on the name of the direction, and because there is no direction, it will also become a thing without direction. If you want to avoid this fault and think that the so-called direction does not exist on all things with directions, then at that time, you have to admit that there are other very obvious directions on things with directions. Therefore, for the sky that is not pervasive in all places and has directions, the pervasiveness itself is contradictory, just like a bottle. Since it is only a mutually different direction, and it is not possible to determine a certain thing with a direction that is different from the direction, how can this unestablished thing be constant? Therefore, the sky is not constant. If you do not admit that this is a thing with directions because it has no parts, if this is the case, then it will not be combined with bottles and other things, right? To be closely combined with them, is it combined with all of itself, or with one part? In this regard, first of all, it is not combined with all of itself, because bottles and other things will also become existing in all places respectively. Therefore, it must be admitted that bottles and other things are combined with directions, and if this is not admitted, the aforementioned faults will inevitably occur. Therefore, the sky is not constant. As the World Honored One said: "Light Guardian is constant, this is one extreme view. Impermanent, this is the second extreme view. What is between these two extreme views is formless, invisible, non-abiding, non-manifesting, non-consciousness, and without a place. Light Guardian, this is the Middle Way of all dharmas." Similarly, in the 《Sacred Secret Inconceivable Manifestation Sutra》, it says: "Tranquil Wisdom, for example, the sky, no one can say that it is constant or impermanent. Tranquil Wisdom, similarly, the body of the Tathagata, no one can say that it is constant or impermanent." The time theorists believe that observing that going, entering, and gathering are done by time, thereby inferring the existence of time. For example, a seed

Even if all the conditions are present, the sprouting of seedlings and so on is not always observed. Why is it that sometimes it is observed, and even when the time contrary to its existence is near, it disappears? Therefore, just like that, if something exists, the arising and ceasing of things will also be observed. What is called time, and the inference made in this way, exists. Even if it exists, it is thought to be permanent because the cause is not observed. If that were the case, then those things that depend on the arising of sprouts and so on would always arise. If it is thought that even if it exists, the actions of things that sometimes act will become the opposite, then it will also be inferred that it does not exist. If it is thought that even if it exists, it is like seeds and so on, because its nature has not yet manifested the special characteristic of being suitable for producing fruit, therefore fruit does not exist at all times, then, even so, like seeds and so on, because its special characteristic of being suitable for producing fruit is occasional, it will become impermanent. Why is it not desired that it be so at all times? If it is thought that it depends on other conditions, then it is not always present, then, even so, because if there are conditions, it exists, and if there are no conditions, it does not exist, and even after arising, it disappears again, so it is certainly controlled by others. Because its arising and ceasing depend on something, it depends on that. Therefore, like sprouts and so on, it does not go beyond the fruit itself. To explain this, it is said that "it will also become fruit." Becoming fruit, like sprouts and so on, will only become impermanent. Therefore, by eliminating the permanence of time, the existence of things in time is eliminated, but it is not shown that there is no time in any way, because time is considered to be the cause of acting together. The verse says: The actions of sentient beings, even for hundreds of kalpas, will not be exhausted. When they are accumulated and the time is ripe, they will ripen into fruit. Because such a verse appears, one is confused about the name alone because one does not understand the meaning examined in reliance on time, and time ripens things.
