It is stillness, it is abiding in reality. The antidote to attachment to food is begging, eating one meal, and not taking food again. The antidote to attachment to Dharma robes is the three Dharma robes, the patched duster robe, and the felt robe. Thus, the twelve qualities cultivated by the Buddha, the Bhagavan, are the antidotes to attachment to dwellings, bedding, food, and Dharma robes. Furthermore, those who are free from desire also practice these, in order to make the master of the field of merit, those who have faith in evil, rejoice greatly. In this way, those who rejoice in it, through approaching it, will surely tend towards Nirvana. Furthermore, the behavior of desire should always be placed before the guru. In this way, the guru will often give teachings, and abiding in the noble lineage, this person's desire will be subdued. Because of improper attention, it is like being covered with a thin shell, so it is impossible to cross the boundary. The behavior of hatred is the opposite of this, such as temples and extremely quiet places. The behavior of ignorance is the guides. It is like giving impure things to someone who has been seized by a Brahmin Rakshasa. Just as when someone is seized by a Brahmin Rakshasa, he is given impure things such as grain wine, and this causes him to leave, so for those who are greedy, it is impure things. The person who practices with it, the afflictions will be pacified, for what does he practice, in order not to increase the afflictions. Furthermore, those who want to abandon anger should recognize the faults of anger in this way: the powerless person who is angry only makes himself ugly. He who has no compassion for any ability is called inferior. For those who cannot harm others, merely arising anger only makes themselves ugly, because they have no ability, so they cannot harm others. For those who can harm others and have the ability, if they have no compassion for harming the powerless, then he is the root of all harm, therefore he will become inferior, taking life.

Therefore, annihilation is all harm, and therefore this person is also called annihilation. Another situation is that if someone becomes without love and beats the weak, there is no other lack of love besides this, so it becomes annihilation. Just like the harm to a caste. Just as one person in a caste makes a mistake, everything is cut off and joined, or destroyed, similarly, a malicious person who uses malice will also go to ruin in every way. Here it is said: When fire and anger arise, what they burn first is the two of them. Afterwards, if it becomes hot, it will burn others. Furthermore, for those who have anger, in order to pacify anger, this method should be shown: Unpleasant sounds speak of the sins previously committed that will eventually end. You hear harsh words, stirring up disputes, and you have hatred for others, which is indeed a very bad behavior of yours. Because you previously heard unpleasant words, in order to make them fully realized, you did and accumulated karma, then here hearing scolding, taking out the fruit from it, will exhaust it. Ignorant and unholy, do not want to be purified from this. Taking out the fruit from hearing unpleasant words, karma will be exhausted, and when karma is exhausted, this person will also be purified. If he is purified like that, but becomes angry with the scolder, then he will again measure himself with that filth, and will be even more foolish than a fool. Like giving medicine to an old ox. Just as giving medicine to some defective old ox, in order to pacify its disease, the herder who gives the medicine is killed instead, hearing unpleasant words will also become the doer of the previously done karma, that is, the one who hears unpleasant words. That is because the person who acts out of ignorance is disrespectful to that person. Here it is said: If one's own sins are purified by others under the pretext of scolding, then he has bestowed a favor on that person, therefore the wise will not be angry with him. Apart from this, there are other abusive words
