the ultimate perfection will occur. Therefore, in order to see the special state of perfection, this will also become excellent and meaningful. Because, correctly combined causes will generate perfect fruits that are in accordance with themselves, which is widely known even among children. The reason is that the wealth of the Bodhisattvas is very vast and there is no realization of decline. The result is also in accordance with this, which is the Tathagata, therefore, the inconceivable qualities of the guides of beings have great wealth. It is like the need for the condition of a renunciate in order to combine a hundred jars of ghee. A wise monk entered the home of a poor man for lodging. That poor man also provided him with ghee for rubbing his feet and bedding. Then, when the ruler of that place heard that the monk had come, he came to the monk and respectfully requested the monk to instruct him on what to do. The monk said, "Give this person, in whose house I stayed the night, a hundred jars of ghee." He also did so. Therefore, in the world, people see the most excellent surpassing the excellent. Through this inference, it should be recognized that there is some kind of inconceivable power of blessing. Here it is said: That which is not manifest, that which is realized by the manifest, cannot be said to be non-existent, the great all become great. Here it is said: Again, why are most of these beings afraid of the Great Vehicle, and also do not respect the excellence of the power of blessing as mentioned above? Because of fear. For example: How does fear arise in a fool towards the very profound Dharma? Similarly, fear arises in the attached towards the extremely wonderful Dharma. Just as those with attachment, due to their foolish nature, are unable to fully distinguish, therefore they feel

Just like that, even subtle things exist in the Dharma that possesses vast differences. Therefore, children, due to their lack of faith, do not believe in the ultimate Dharma that is passed down from one Tathagata to the next. But it is not that it is non-existent, because they want to manifest and want to embrace all beings, they generate great faith in the Mahayana, which clearly explains the profound and vast Dharma, and one must definitely combine oneself with special faith in it. Just like the noble Body Good. For example, when the landowner, the noble Body Good, became a householder, seeing those who practice the asceticism of deer engaging in sexual misconduct with a female deer, he became distrustful of the monks, thinking: What will my situation become? For those who practice the asceticism of deer, if those who are suffering do not abandon the habit of sexual activity, then what need is there to mention abandoning it for the Shakya people who are so supremely happy? Therefore, they were also afraid to enter the Sangha. When various kinds of spiritual friends reside, eating grains from the banks of the Ganges, being gazed upon by young women with long eyes, being controlled by the grass by the water's edge, after hearing about food mixed with ghee and bean flour, decorated with excellent yogurt, if the Shakyas are controlled by desire, they will drift in the ocean of suffering. It is also said like that. He prevented monks from the retinue of the queen, and was also subdued by his elder brother, the wise King Ashoka, by ordering him to be killed. Similarly, how can foolish people have faith in this profound and extremely vast Dharma? What need is there to mention gaining special attachment? Here it is said: Profound and vast words, mostly spoken from the Mahayana. Therefore, those with little and inferior faith, will truly generate fear towards this. This Dharma is not the realm of practice for the narrow-minded and inferior, this Dharma is the realm of practice for the sons of the Buddhas, the victorious ones have spoken thus. The vehicle of the gods and the vehicle of Brahma, and whatever temporary vehicles, all of these gather in this great place of the Mahayana. Therefore, this is the Great Vehicle, why is it great?

Or relied upon by the (great) masses, because of having great merits, or held by the (great) ones, because it is a great accumulation of merits, or benefiting those who have already passed away into peace, or for the sake of being offered to by the noble ones, therefore this is considered the (Great) Vehicle. In the Four Hundred Verses on the Yogic Practice of Bodhisattvas by the Master Aryadeva, the explanation of the fifth chapter, which is the teaching on the conduct of Bodhisattvas. Furthermore, the Bodhisattva who has mastered the excellent collection of qualities, who is the sole friend of beings, should understand that the source of all decline is samsara. In order to cut off samsara for beings, one must be diligent and strive. In order to prevent it from arising again, one must eliminate it from the root cause, and its cause is afflictions and karma. Therefore, for those who are to be tamed, one should dedicate oneself to cutting off these afflictions and karma. If that is the case, then for those who have renounced, why are they allowed to enjoy abundant things such as temples, food, and Dharma robes? For example, they are allowed to enjoy temples that are extremely pleasing, decorated with various foundations and furnishings, with walls painted with pleasing colors, with wide windows, free from mosquitoes, horseflies, scorpions, and snakes, and with soft cloth cushions and pillows, and beds decorated with exquisite interiors. Similarly, they are allowed to enjoy fragrant and soft hundred-flavored foods, as well as meat, yogurt, milk, butter, and foods decorated with rock candy. And they are allowed to enjoy Dharma robes worth millions. Because all of these are in accordance with happiness and are the cause of achieving happiness, but they are also the source of desire. First, diseases should also be eliminated by completely abandoning the foundation. Therefore, one should practice the path that is mainly suffering, like the naked ascetics. Abiding as it is proclaimed, being afflicted by wind, sunlight, cold, and heat, with the body covered in filthy mud.
