This is the commentary on the fourth chapter. Here it is said: Furthermore, the special characteristic of the preciousness of the well-spoken, how the ultimate reality of worldly affairs exists, showing it, where are these causes free from attachment found? It should be said: From the Buddhas, the Bhagavat. What are these Buddhas, the Bhagavat, like? They are those who are subdued by great compassion, accomplishing the benefit of all beings, in every way inconceivable, diligently acting. Like this: The movements of the Buddhas, There is not a single one without a cause, Even the breath is for sentient beings, It truly arises only for medicinal purposes. Thus, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are the emanations of the activities propelled by the thought of taking care of all beings, therefore, they produce results according to the conditions, and benefit beings. The movements of the wise ones administer medicine to all beings dwelling in the three realms at the edge of the sky. Whatever movement is characterized by the complete activity of the body, but does not administer medicine to all sentient beings, that is not possible at all. As it is said in the noble *Samadhiraja Sutra*: Hundreds of thousands of myriads of rays of light, Emanate from the soles of the feet of the King of Dharma, All sentient beings in hells become cool, Having no suffering, they experience happiness, There the Ten-Powered One teaches the Dharma, The eyes of gods and humans are purified, Hundreds of thousands of myriads of living beings, All become certain of the Buddha's wisdom. And so on. Similarly, When the Victorious One places his foot on the threshold of the door, Whatever blind people there are, And the deaf, the unprotected, with little merit, All of them obtain eyes and ears. When the Victorious One places his foot on the threshold of the door, Whatever hungry ghosts there are in the realm of Yama, Suffering greatly, eating pus and blood, All are touched by the light and become happy. As it is extensively said. For the moment, leave the movement aside. It arises naturally, without relying on the special mental force that propels it, and follows day and night from birth to nirvana.

Its breath is also entirely for the sake of benefiting these sentient beings that it enters. Thus, the breaths of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, arise from above the vessels of hell beings, like a great heap of black cloud smoke eye ointment, captivating the minds of hell beings, covering the entire mandala of the hell vessels. With extremely pleasant and clear, uninterrupted thunder, it satisfies the hell beings surrounded by the chains of hellfire. It pours down extremely delicious and cool rain, extinguishing the heaps of fire of the hell beings. Therefore, those suffering hell beings think in their hearts, by whose power has this descended? Seeing the inconceivable form body of the Tathagata in front, it gladdens the minds of sentient beings. Because of generating great faith in the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, it alleviates the accumulation of all non-virtuous karma, and because of the cause of faith, it truly casts forth virtuous deeds corresponding to the part of liberation, for the sake of permanently benefiting them. The breath also, for sentient beings, truly arises only for benefit. Similarly, for other activities such as walking, standing, sitting, and lying down, one should apply it as stated in the scriptures. Therefore, in this way, a wise person, convinced of the faults of samsara, in order to exhaust it, with diligence in all aspects, as the well-spoken words that have been proclaimed, is the precious refuge, the lord of the three realms, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, for all beings of the three realms, like a beloved only child. Oh! Loving one, for those who are especially close, one should trust with faith as the foremost. Like the rib-born monk. There was a monk belonging to the rib-born lineage, and there was a master of illusion wheels, I said I would give you alms, you must spend the summer in my house, thus he was invited. In order to do the work of the illusion wheel under his palace, there were also many illusion wheels.

It was done. Then, he let the monk stay in the monastery as he pleased. After the summer season passed, he gave him the price of robes as a reward and paid him wages for his work. The monk said, "I have not done any work for you, why should I receive wages?" He said, "You have not stayed in this house for even a moment without doing anything, your conduct has not been idle for a moment." Saying this, he also showed him the prayer wheel and the benefits of performing it. Just as that monk turned the prayer wheel, and there was not a single action that was not for the sake of turning the prayer wheel, so too, the actions of the body, speech, and mind of the Buddha, the Bhagavan, for all beings, there is not a single one that is not for the benefit of all beings, or that does not eliminate meaninglessness. A verse states: Drawn by great compassion, possessing pure wisdom, the actions of the body, speech, and mind of the Able One, are not for self-interest, nor are they meaningless, but only for the sake of benefiting others. Those who draw near to the Tathagata will transcend the fear of death and all suffering. For example: In all the world, there is the call of the Lord of Death, which generates fear. Likewise, this sound of the All-Knowing One, also generates great fear in the Lord of Death. Therefore, those who truly follow the path of the Tathagata, transcend the realm of death. Hearing the name of the Tathagata also generates the seeds of following the Tathagata, creating the roots of virtue. As the Bhagavan said: "Whoever hears my name, all of them will attain Nirvana by any one of the three vehicles." Like a prisoner who has been released. Some kings, when a prince is born, will announce the release of prisoners, and this news will also make the whole world rejoice. Those who are imprisoned will be afraid upon hearing the news of release, just like being afflicted with a plague. Similarly, when the Tathagata appears, all beings except for demons will rejoice.
