Once upon a time, he adorned himself with a collection of power and colors. At another time, he bathed and anointed his body. When he reached the middle of the street, a poor man unintentionally touched his clothes. The man arrogantly walked away and denigrated him, saying, "Your shabby clothes have defiled me." He was thus rebuked. Similarly, ignorant children fill their bellies with impure things and reside in their mother's womb with impurity for nine or ten months. Born from impurity, they become impure worms. Due to ignorance, they again cultivate arrogance through enjoyment, clean sounds, appearance, and strength, etc. Here it is said: Even if it is said not to be repulsive, there is no cleanliness in this body, because seeds, dwelling, food, and foul-smelling things flow out. Here it is said: If the body itself is not clean, then there will be no act of abandoning impurity. But why completely abandon impurity? Therefore, the body itself is also clean. It should be said: No matter what method is used, the inside of the body cannot become clean. You strive for the inside, not the outside. Even if one engages in water sprinkling, bathing, anointing, and sweeping with mantras for a very long time, one cannot wash the inside of the body. Therefore, where is there cleanliness for a body that is disgusted by the impurity that flows out from within? Furthermore, one hopes to closely enjoy those places from which impurity is expelled from the mouth, but one does not perform cleansing actions such as bathing on those places. Therefore, like this, where is there cleanliness for a body of impure nature? It is like seeing a village friend appointed as the manager of a toilet, or like a jackal seeing the flowers of the Palasha tree. A friend of a certain village was appointed as the manager of a toilet by the king. This friend saw someone cleaning the toilet with juniper and incense, etc., and he laughed and said, "When will this ever be clean?" Similarly, ignorant people try to clean the body from the inside with delicious food and drinks.
