It is like being satisfied by letting children work as servants in their own homes. Some children are told by their families to take a bath, saying, "Get some hot water," and they do so. Similarly, they are made to fetch wood, heat water, massage, and perform rituals with oil rubs. They only do some incomplete massages, but they are very satisfied with that. Similarly, those who are of the nature of desire disregard their own labor and assume that happiness exists only in women. Here it is said: Because happiness arises from the assembly of causes and conditions, therefore, it should be known by those of understanding that its cause is not singular. Here it is said: If desire is disparaged in this way by many causes, why do those with attachment repeatedly pursue desires? Because of pursuing desires, it is certain that one will be happy with the happiness born of desire. It should be said: Indeed, like a leper scratching, blinded by desire, one does not see the faults of desire. Just as when a leper afflicted with severe itching scratches, because it is close to suffering, one does not see the faults of itching, such as the harm of fire, peeling skin, and the dripping of blood and pus, but repeatedly scratches without stopping, and does not regard it as a fault. Similarly, those with desire, overwhelmed by the itch of desire, do not see the faults in desires, and repeatedly enjoy the pleasure of desire, without stopping from it, and do not regard desire as an impure fault. Because this is so, therefore, to those without attachment, those with attachment appear to be suffering like lepers. Because the noble ones who are liberated from the fault of the itch of desire, those who are without desire and detached from desires, to them, those with desire appear to be suffering like lepers, therefore, it should never be said that those with attachment are happy, just like indulging in gambling and so on. Just like gambling, drinking, and scratching.

Similarly, indulging in the desire for union with women is not the cause of the exhaustion of material possessions and the body. Here it is said: Dogs and pigs are impure, just as the pleasure of desire is also impure. The greedy are immersed in it, who would like the pure? Here it is said: Desire itself is impure, but even so, the various actions that arise from attachment to desire are pleasurable. It is to be said: What happens in times of famine to those who are helpless and afflicted by hunger? That is, when encountering a woman, all the greedy are shaken. Just as in times of famine, tormented by the suffering of hunger and thirst, impoverished, with all relatives exhausted, and the helpless find it difficult to obtain food. For the wealthy, the most impoverished bodily actions, and flattering words, even if humiliated a hundred times by the extremely ruthless wealthy, still hoping that these people will give them a little something in the future, not abandoning the state of being humiliated, what kind of agitation of afflictions is seen? The same agitation is that the greedy manifest the desire to unite with women, young people indulge themselves, therefore, the head is struck, saliva flies, various humiliations such as being whipped, abandoning pride, those blinded by desire can also see. Because this is exactly so, it is unreasonable to say that when encountering a woman, the act of greed becomes pleasure, just like seeking the semen of a cow in prison. For example, just as some who are imprisoned desire the semen of a cow, all the greedy seek to obtain the enjoyment of desire from women with flattering words. Here it is said: When hearing the circumstances of encountering a woman, and the actions of the greedy, the non-greedy will therefore feel disgusted. Here it is said: Because of attachment to pleasure, one becomes attached to women, therefore one becomes jealous of others, so the pleasure of women exists. It is to be said

That is, due to arrogance, some people develop attachment even to toilets, some develop attachment to certain women, and some are jealous of others. Some rich and powerful people, due to arrogance, even become attached to the container of feces in the toilet, and they are jealous of others for it. Because it is only to be universally attached to women, and only to be jealous, not only that, but also because there is attachment to the toilet, so it is not that there is happiness because of attachment and jealousy towards women, just like snatching cold water from a dry-topped maid. King Dry-Top, due to the arrogance of power, some arrogant people would jealously say, "What is the difference between you and me?", and would not even give water to the maid to drink. Therefore, such attachment is not only for those with merits, but also for those without merits due to arrogance. It should be said here that because women and toilets are impure and harmful, therefore, knowing this, one should not be attached to them. It is said here that when one thinks of impurity, it is reasonable to be attached to what has happiness. It should be said that ignorance of impurity can lead to anger, and it is reasonable to lead to anger, but in any case, attachment should not arise. Some people step on impure things and may develop ignorance and anger, because they are obscured by darkness and lose their sight, so it is possible to develop ignorance towards what is not seen, and because the smell is unpleasant and approaching is harmful, it is also possible to develop anger, but because the subsequent is inconsistent, it is unreasonable to develop attachment. Similarly, for the impure body of a woman, because it is covered by the exterior, ignorance may arise, and anger may arise because of the unpleasant smell, but in any case, attachment should not arise, because it is the nature of impurity. It is not that there is some happiness in it, so attachment arises, just like stepping on impure things at night. Some people step on impure things with both feet at night, and when he sees it, he is confused and later develops attachment. To this, others say: You
