Purity does not exist. Here, whatever possesses its own entity, nature, autonomy, and does not depend on others, does not have dependent arising because it is not produced from itself, but all conditioned things are also dependently arisen. Thus, whatever thing exists by depending on something, that is not autonomous, because it arises depending on causes and conditions. All of this is without autonomy, therefore, there is no self-nature in any thing. Therefore, here, dependent arising, because it is devoid of the nature of autonomy, the meaning of being devoid of the nature of autonomy is the meaning of emptiness, but it is not the meaning that all things do not exist. Therefore, for this dependent arising, like an illusion, to slander the cause of complete defilement and purification, to view it as non-existent is inverted, and because there is no self-nature, to view things as existent is also inverted. Therefore, in this way, for those who claim that things possess self-nature, the fault of not having dependent arising and of holding to permanence and annihilation will occur. If, assuming that the meaning of non-autonomy is the meaning of dependent arising, then, what do you think will harm us? What is the difference between you and us? If you think so, then it should be said that you realize the meaning of dependent arising as it is, and it is unspeakable, this is the difference. Just as a young child who is not proficient in words clings to an image as true, and further exaggerates it, thereby obscuring the self-nature emptiness that exists as it is, and thinks that it has self-nature, so he cannot understand the image. Similarly, although you acknowledge dependent arising, even though the dependent arising similar to an image is empty in its self-nature, you cannot truly understand how it exists with its own entity, because you do not grasp non-self-nature as non-self-nature, and you further exaggerate and cling to the non-existent own entity as the existent own entity. It is also unspeakable, self-nature not

Because it is not said to be a different entity, but rather the self-nature of things. Therefore, if one understands in this way but cannot express it, one will be deceived by self and other. Therefore, since we are gathered here in such a great assembly, this work of composing treatises is not without fruit. Because there is no arising of self-nature in anything. A fruitless thing cannot be gathered in all things. That which is gathered for the sake of fruit, this is gathered in the noble ones. If the function of things becomes self-nature, then it will be permanent and not dependent on the fruit, because self-nature is not dependent on the fruit. One thing cannot accomplish even a small fruit, therefore, in order to accomplish the fruit of the gathering, they will also gather together. That which is gathered for the sake of fruit, for those noble ones who see its self-nature, there is no gathering, because they do not appear as true. Therefore, in order to show that from completely negating the afflictive ignorance that makes consciousness more attached to the self-nature of things, and all aspects that are connected with things and become the seeds of samsara, the cessation of samsara can be established, it is said in the following verses: The seed of existence is consciousness, the objects are its realm of activity. If one sees no self in objects, then the seed of existence will cease. As said before, by seeing that objects have no self-nature, consciousness, which is the cause of attachment, becomes the seed of samsara, and from completely eliminating all these aspects, the cessation of samsara can be established for the Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Bodhisattvas who have attained the tolerance of non-arising dharmas. The seed of the arising of the Tathagata's wisdom, the mind of Bodhi, will not regress for them, because for all beings, the attainment of the Tathagata's wisdom is bound to happen. Those who have not generated such a mind of Bodhi will surely generate it later, and through the practice of the Bodhisattva, they will surely attain unsurpassed wisdom. This is the noble
