It is seen as being called "Pa." Moreover, it is held by the body, and its hardness is the object of the body's senses. Why is this so? Therefore, some tactile sensations are referred to as "earth." The form aggregate is the object of the eye's senses. Therefore, if that is the case, the cause and effect are not without difference, because the characteristics are different, and the way of holding is different. Even if there are differences, it would become saying that there is no cause. This thing that is separate from self-nature and other-nature, for some things, it is not always reasonable to exist as its own essence. Therefore, the cause of form does not exist. Even if the cause of form does not exist, it is established that form does not exist as its own essence. Therefore, the Blessed One said: Those who see me as form, those who know me as sound, have all entered the wrong path, and they cannot see me. Then how should one look? The Buddhas see the Dharma-nature, the guides see the Dharma-body, the Dharma-nature is not knowable, it cannot be known. So it is said. Here, some say that the pot is not seen as its own essence, nor is it not seen, but because it is related to observability, it will become observable, and becoming observable will also become manifest. In order to show that this is also unreasonable, it is said: The pot arises from the viewer, and there is no merit in this. Therefore, just as the viewer arises, the nature of existence also does not exist. If observability is manifest or what is different, then in either case, this does not need observability. Here, after fully examining this observability, consider the own nature of the observable, or the own nature of the unobservable. For the time being, if it is on the own nature of the observable, then what is the use of examining it? Because that thing that is fully thought about, even if it does not exist, it exists, so it should not be examined. If one thinks of observability for something that has become unobservable, it is also unreasonable, because even non-sentient beings are all observability.

Because it is absurd, and because it contradicts the fact that the object to be viewed itself is unborn. Since the object to be viewed itself is unborn, just as viewing is like birth, it is unreasonable to view a pot that is not to be viewed in any way, so birth is impossible. Similarly, for a pot that has not become an object to be viewed, it is also non-existent in the nature of existence. For a pot that is neither existent nor non-existent, it is also unreasonable to examine the viewing itself, so this is unreasonable. Here it is said: Objects, such as forms, etc., are indeed manifest and existent, because there are sense faculties such as the eye, etc., that grasp them. These existent sense faculties must undoubtedly enter their own objects. Whatever they can enter, such as forms, etc., those things are manifest. It should be explained that if the sense faculties are able to completely cut off, then becoming things like forms, even the change itself is not. Why? Because here the five, such as the eye, etc., generally show that they are born from the elements. Their functions differ because of the different objects. For example, the eye can only see form and cannot hear sound; the ear can only hear sound and cannot see form. When that is the case, the eye is a transformation, and so is the ear. When the eye can see and others cannot, since it is impossible to have actions that contradict reason, how can the eye, etc., discern their own nature? Although they are equally born from the elements, it is unreasonable to examine the different grasping of objects. If the existence of the eye, etc., is inferred from grasping objects, that is also impossible because of contradiction, therefore, because there are sense faculties, it is unreasonable for objects to be manifest. If the eye, etc., do not exist, then how are these sense faculties, such as the eye, etc., established as the nature of the ripening of karma? Have we prevented the nature of the ripening of these? If by establishing the prevention of the eye, etc., how is it that it has not been prevented? Because our analysis is to strive to seek the nature of things. We are here with things...
