Therefore, from the actual entry, it is manifest, while knowledge is imputed. According to others, the sound of "manifest" is actually knowledge itself, but here it is imputed to the object. This is not worldly, because there is no such common term in the world. Therefore, worldly terms are established, and it is only in the world that one can say "the pot is manifest." When seeking the nature, it is not appropriate to say that with knowledge, because the self-nature of the pot is not determined in any way. From the perspective of worldly consciousness, the pot is also manifest, and forms and so on are also manifest, and those that are close to them are also manifest, so there is no fault. Whoever clings to this sense consciousness as manifest and considers others to be valid cognitions is very irrelevant. If non-deceptive knowledge is seen as valid cognition in the world, then consciousness is also said by the Bhagavan to be conditioned, so it is false, deceptive, and like an illusion. Whatever is false, deceptive, and like an illusion is not non-deceptive, because things exist in one way but appear in another way. As such, it should not be considered a valid cognition, because all consciousness would become valid cognition. Therefore, if this logician has not gone mad from being intoxicated by drinking the liquor of logic, then he will not abandon the good path of dependent origination and dependent imputation, and he will not excessively reveal the things taught in the doctrines of the non-Buddhists, and he will not become a collection of unsacred babble. This world is also judged like a mirage, and being confused about the existence of worldly and transworldly things, he merely reconciles with his own thoughts, and obstructs the path to heaven and liberation, so he is placed on a very meaningless path of logic. Therefore, here, like drinking mad water, one cannot stop meaningless babble. Enough with the elaboration! The pot is mani

By negating what is not, it should be understood that this negates that all things that are objects of the visual sense are manifest. Just as it was said before that things like vases cannot be manifest, similarly, in order to negate that things that can be completely determined by other senses, that are established in dependence on this, that can be smelled, tasted, and touched, are manifest, it is said: Through this very analysis, those endowed with supreme intelligence should individually negate all fragrances, sweetness, and softness. The term "fragrance" refers to what can be completely determined by the nose, such as nasal flowers, lotuses, উৎপala (Sanskrit, utpala, blue lotus), and sandalwood, etc., which approximately represent all the objects of the sense of smell. Because even in the dark, when shapes and other things cannot be seen, one can still discern by smell alone. Similarly, the term "sweetness" also approximately represents all the objects of the sense of taste, such as brown sugar, salt, and neem, etc. The term "softness" refers to cotton, sand, and stones, etc., which approximately represent all the objects of the sense of the body. These are all composed of eight substances, and therefore, they each only grasp the sensory object that corresponds to themselves, and do not grasp everything. Therefore, who would say that nasal flowers, brown sugar, and cotton, etc., are my manifest, and truly understand this? The negation of sound will be explained in detail later. If it is said that the vase is not different from the shape, but the shape pervades the vase, so seeing the shape is the same as seeing all the vases, then, in order to show that this is also meaningless, it is said: If merely seeing the shape, one could see all things, then, because one has not seen the vase, why could it not be said that seeing the shape is not seeing? Or, this is another meaning, even though the vase is composed of eight substances, if merely seeing the shape of one substance, one thinks one has seen the whole, then, setting aside for the moment the shape itself that does not coexist separately with these substances, merely because one has not seen the other seven substances, therefore one has not seen.
