If emptiness, then in what way is viewing emptiness incurable, so it is said. Therefore, For the non-noble, self-grasping is supreme. Teaching selflessness is not so. For the Dharma of selflessness, if one is particularly averse and manifestly attached to self, then relying on non-noble Dharma, a person who follows stubborn views is called a non-noble. For that non-noble, because the evil deeds he commits can be prevented, teaching self is supreme. Thus, he is connected with us, manifestly wishing to obtain benefit and happiness for himself, and content with liberation from evil deeds, thinking in his heart of liberation from sins, thus it will also be easy to obtain going to a good rebirth. Teaching the Dharma of selflessness will destroy this person's body, speech, and mind continuum through abandonment and inverted understanding. Therefore, if so, One goes only to a bad rebirth, the ordinary, non-ordinary, to peace. A foolish person who has a wrong view of selflessness will only go to a bad rebirth, and not to peace. If someone is not ordinary, then he will only go to peace, and not to a bad rebirth. The word ordinary is a synonym for non-supreme. What is non-supreme? It is the inverted understanding or abandonment of the meaning of emptiness. Preventing it is non-ordinary, and the meaning of non-ordinary is supreme. From the teaching of emptiness alone, an ordinary person will reach the end of a bad rebirth, and from the same teaching of emptiness, a non-ordinary person will reach the end of Nirvana. Because of seeing emptiness, abandoning attachment to all things, thereby destroying the collection of karma and afflictions, one will certainly approach the state of Nirvana. Or, if a non-noble person hears the Dharma of selflessness, then because of abandonment and inverted understanding, he will only fall into a bad rebirth. If he does not hear it, then because of the merit of virtuous deeds, he will only reach a good rebirth. Furthermore, what is it that should not be taught to non-noble people, and what is the selflessness that should be taught to noble people? In order to explain it, it is said: the gate of peace without duality, and the view

That which destroys evil views, becomes the realm of all Buddhas, is called selflessness. What is the gate of peace, without a second, is selflessness. That which destroys all evil views is selflessness. That which becomes the realm of all Buddhas is called selflessness. The so-called self is the nature of all things that does not depend on others, and the absence of this nature is selflessness. This selflessness can be divided into two, namely the selflessness of phenomena and the selflessness of persons. The so-called person is that which is falsely established based on the five aggregates, and it is impossible to find it in the aggregates in five ways. Phenomena are things such as aggregates, elements, and sources. Therefore, phenomena and persons, in terms of their nature, all depend on causes and conditions to arise, and are falsely established due to attachment, so the nature of self does not depend on itself, nor does it depend on others. Therefore, persons and phenomena are all established as without self-nature. If a thing does not exist with its own nature, then by what other nature will it be established? Therefore, showing or closely showing that all things are not established by their own characteristics, but appear with an illusory nature, is the root of attachment for foolish people. If one can truly see its true nature and cultivate it, it can lead to the complete cessation of attachment to phenomena and persons. The complete cessation of attachment is the cause of attaining Nirvana, and there is no other method that can be such as the cause of the complete cessation of attachment except for contemplating selflessness. Therefore, this selflessness with the characteristic of no self-nature is the gate of peace without a second. To enter the city of Nirvana, this is the only unparalleled gate. Even though there are three gates of liberation, namely emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness, the view of selflessness is the most important, because it can know that all phenomena are selfless, and it can cause the complete cessation of attachment to all things.

What need is there to seek a real meaning or to fixate on characteristics? Therefore, selflessness is the only door to peace, there is no other. Precisely because of this, it is said in the Collection of Provisions for Enlightenment: "Because of the absence of inherent existence, emptiness is empty of emptiness, What is the use of existence and characteristics? Since all characteristics are reversed, Why would the wise make aspirations?" Thus it is said. This is what destroys evil views, and evil views are those views that are considered evil. If there is no self, then since things are not apprehended in any way, this selflessness is what destroys evil views, since the very nature of things is seen to be completely dependent on what is being examined. Selflessness is the realm of all Buddhas, and "all Buddhas" refers to the Hearers, Solitary Buddhas, and the unsurpassed Perfectly Awakened Buddhas. Since it abides in the very realm of the distinction of wisdom, it is called the realm of all Buddhas. Or, it is said "all Buddhas" in order to show that it belongs to all those who abide inseparably from the Dharma Body of the Perfectly Awakened Buddha. By means of a special series, the teacher has declared that all phenomena are selfless. This selflessness should not be taught by the noble to beings of weak intellect, because: From the mere name of this doctrine, Even the non-noble are born with fear. Because for the non-noble, this doctrine is difficult to fathom and profound, even hearing the word "selflessness" gives rise to fear. Like this: Who is seen as powerful, Not causing fear in others? Seeing selflessness is powerful, because it is able to uproot all non-noble views. Non-noble views are weak, because they are to be uprooted. It is certain that the weak fear the strong. Therefore, this doctrine should not be taught to those whose minds are possessed by weak and evil views, because it is a cause of fear. If this doctrine should not be taught in order to destroy evil views? Like this, the opponents of other schools will certainly
