The obstacle of habituation, the emptiness of the nature of things, is because it is in accordance with the cessation of samsara. Individual beings are very afraid of the Dharma that stops it because the continuum of their minds is attached to self and related to it. If one thinks of all things as emptiness of nature like a crack in a cliff, it is unbearable to realize them as they are. Therefore, if someone is obscured by the thick darkness of ignorance, and the reality of things is covered, and in the beginningless and endless wilderness of samsara, some who have wasted the good path, if they become respectful of the words of emptiness of nature, then by means of accomplishing the corresponding causes, how to increase their faith in emptiness. This should be done with compassion, repaying the kindness of the Blessed One, the Tathagata, and desiring to completely abandon the cause of obstacles to one's own holy Dharma, which is the cause of a great precipice, relying on lightness, and also giving what is difficult to give, and also gathering with the four objects of gathering. This holy Dharma should be shown closely with all effort to those who have become vessels of the holy Dharma. Some not only do not respect what has been shown as above, but also, some are obscured by some delusion and obstruct that reality. For them, even a good rebirth does not exist, what need is there to mention liberation? Some are obscured by delusion, which is called jealousy, stinginess, laziness, fear, and hatred of the listener, and so on. If someone obstructs those beings who have become vessels for showing reality from seeing and hearing reality, etc., then they will definitely go to the lower realms, therefore, a good rebirth, that is, the nature of gods and humans, is also impossible. Then, what need is there to talk about the opportunity for liberation for them? Has this not caused harm to both one's own and others' continuums? Therefore, the lamp of wisdom pervades all the doors of the directions, the light is extremely clear, the power continues uninterrupted in the three times, never diminishing, and for the sake of destroying the darkness of ignorance every day, the collection of light is constantly increasing. It is able to illuminate all the thoughts of beings, and it is obstructing the power that is constantly arising in the continuum.

Therefore, it is so. Moreover, having observed that this itself harms both oneself and others, the Blessed One said, "Defects in discipline are serious, but defects in view are not." It is said in the sutras that defects in discipline are serious, but defects in view are not. Therefore, in order to explain that the words of the Tathagata are reasonable and correct, the teacher said, "With discipline, one goes to the good realms; with view, one obtains the supreme state." If discipline is broken, even if one possesses the correct view, one will not be destroyed by the noble ones. Then, for beings born in small, medium, and large order, it is sufficient to completely cut off the ripening of the fruits of being born in the preta, animal, and hell realms. And pure discipline, even if the correct view has not arisen, will become the cause of the supreme heavenly fruit for ordinary people. If the view is broken, even if it is a very small fault, its ripened result is far greater than countless hundreds of thousands of broken disciplines, let alone complete failure. If that person, because of the arising of the noble path, arises with a perfect correct view, like the confluence of conditions, then he will certainly not be devoured by karma. He will eliminate the darkness of ignorance that has no beginning or end in samsara, and will present the boundaries of all sentient beings before him, thereby attaining nirvana. Therefore, the wise should recognize that this view of suchness is very important, and should strive to prevent it from being lost. Because of seeing the danger of this loss, one should not teach this view of selflessness to everyone without distinguishing the vessels, especially to those who are not suitable vessels. Because teaching it to them will only become a meaningless cause. As it is said, "Teaching to fools will only lead to confusion, not peace. A quadruped drinking milk will only increase poison." The Blessed One also said, Kashyapa, even a slight attachment to the view of self is not as bad as those with high pride clinging to the view of emptiness. Why is that? Kashyapa, all those who fall into views will certainly
