It cannot be impermanence itself. The weak cannot destroy the strong either. This is said to show that this is not a caste. If impermanence is weak in both, then existence is not weak. From then on, they will surely understand. Otherwise, who would see it? If impermanence itself is weak at the time of existence, then what will destroy the things that exist harmoniously later? From then on, how can it be powerful itself? Therefore, it is not the most powerful from the beginning, or it will never become the most powerful itself. Therefore, if things become eternal or non-existent, this is also unreasonable. Therefore, it does not exist. Furthermore, if impermanence is not weak and exists in all things, then all things do not exist, or all are not impermanent. If impermanence itself is not weak and becomes powerful, and exists in all things, if it pervades all things and exists, then at that time all things do not exist. If it does not exist in all things, then at that time all dharmas are not impermanent, a part of it will become eternal, because existence is the most powerful. A part will become impermanent, because impermanence itself is the most powerful. In this way, everything is not impermanent, or it does not exist. Furthermore, if impermanence itself arises simultaneously with the characteristic, or arises later? To this, if impermanence always exists, then existence is not always present, because the characteristic is not confused with the basis. If impermanence always follows, then at that time existence is not always present, because it is related to impermanence. Or it has already become eternal, and then becomes impermanent. If you want to avoid the faults mentioned above, and think that things are impermanent later, then at that time the thing initially has existence and becomes eternal, and later has impermanence itself and becomes impermanent, it will become like this. It is also unreasonable that one thing is both eternal and impermanent.

Moreover, in order to prevent the characteristics of conditioned phenomena from being confused with each other, if existence and impermanence exist simultaneously with a thing, then either impermanence will disappear, or existence will become false. If the impermanence of that thing disappears at the time of its existence, then if it perishes, then existence will become false, so existence is unreasonable. Since existence does not exist, the manifested thing does not exist, and even if the thing exists, since its dependent time does not exist, it is established that time is without self-nature. Here it is said that the time of the cause of things does exist. Thus, as the dependent of past conditioned phenomena, past time exists. If the past thing does not exist, then what kind of object will the memory of the past become, thinking that I have become like this and like that in the past? Therefore, since there is memory dependent on it, it is said that the time of the cause of things does exist. Here, memory only engages with the object that is going to be experienced, and memory has no function for the object that is directly perceived by the present consciousness. If it is certain that they arise simultaneously, the present object also exists, but even so, it does not depend on the main factor at that moment, because it depends on the moment when entry is dominant to define any thing, so only the consciousness that focuses on past things is the clearest definition of memory, not for others. Therefore, the thing on which the memory arises exists. To show that it is also meaningless, it is said: Seen things do not reappear, and the mind does not arise again, so the so-called memory is inverted, and only inverted thoughts arise in meaning. The nature of the thing in the present state, which is directly acted upon by the present consciousness, that is, what is seen now, no longer appears. The situation where one thing is completely determined by two consciousnesses has already been refuted above. In the same way, the seen thing no longer appears. When it does not appear, the mind that depends on it no longer arises. When the thing itself
