If it exists, how does one speculate about the arising of even the most subtle things? Those who are not skilled in discernment do not see the meaning of things that arise from conditions. Therefore, the term "Dharma" refers to Nirvana. And Nirvana is not separate from the nature of dependent origination. As it is said in the Sutras, "Whoever sees dependent origination sees the Dharma." The wisdom that completely cuts off the nature of the inseparability of dependent origination and Nirvana is the knowledge of the Dharma. One who knows the Dharma should understand the meaning of dependent origination. As it is said in the treatises: Whatever and all are dependently originated, their nature is pacified. Therefore, birth and what is born are themselves peaceful. It is said that what has arisen and birth, whose nature is without arising, is the meaning of dependent origination. Suffering is also dependent origination, so its nature is unborn. Whatever is unborn by its very nature is Nirvana, because both are unborn. In this way, there is no slight difference between Samsara and Nirvana. There is no difference whatsoever between Nirvana and Samsara. The limit of Nirvana is also the limit of Samsara, and there is not even the slightest, most subtle difference between the two. This is what is to be explained. The word "limit" means supreme. Supreme means perfect. The nature of the limits grasped by ordinary people is that both are unborn, so because their nature is unborn, Samsara and Nirvana are one. Therefore, because it is no different from Nirvana, dependent origination is also called Dharma. Seeing it is seeing Nirvana, so whoever sees dependent origination sees the Dharma. Because the nature of the Dharma and the Blessed One, the Buddha, are inseparable, seeing it is seeing the Buddha. Thus, for one who knows the Dharma, focusing on the unborn nature of dependent origination,

The support of the three faiths, which is dependent arising, is not inherently produced. Nirvana is also seen as its nature, so realization is only one. In this, dependent arising is the object of the Dharma, knowing this Dharma, one can cut off the arising and ceasing of suffering, this is the complete knowledge of suffering. Cutting off the arising and ceasing of karma and afflictions, this is the knowledge of the origin of suffering. If the arising and ceasing of dependent arising is not cut off, this is the knowledge of cessation. The truth of the path is also dependent arising, so it can cut off the inherent arising and ceasing, this is the knowledge of the path. Thus, with the knowledge of the Dharma, seeing dependent arising in one instant, there can be no other view that was not seen before. If so, how can the fifteen instants of the path of seeing be established? Some schools do not accept that there are fifteen instants of the path of seeing, but believe that it is only one realization. Their views and statements are not contradictory. According to those who accept fifteen instants, it is also to benefit the trainable beings by teaching them in this way, so the nature of one consciousness is divided into categories and established as fifteen parts. If so, then what about the sixteen aspects of the path of meditation? Those who want to be liberated, in order to make them accustomed to knowing this path in other ways, this is also fully examined and established, but its nature is actually one. If there is an aspect that is distinguished by difference, which is another thing taken by another consciousness, then at that time, the aspect that has not been completely cut off must be cut off. If under the knowledge of the Dharma, there is a difference that should be individually cut off, then because its object is regarded as another thing, its nature must be individually cut off, therefore, no matter who, if he is not skilled, even if he distinguishes the very subtle things in the way of inherent arising, he cannot know the meaning of dependent arising, that is, the meaning of inherent non-arising and one taste, let alone the coarse things?

What need is there to mention anything else? In this way, seeing the meaning of dependent arising as a single characteristic, gradually becoming accustomed to it, and completely stopping ignorance, abiding in the knowledge that focuses on the very nature of dependent arising is designated as having attained liberation and accomplished the task in the seen Dharma, and it is not otherwise. If, according to your doctrine, the cycle of existence of a monk who has exhausted his afflictions could be completely reversed, then why would the fully enlightened Buddhas not endure his creation? If afflictions are reversed by wisdom, then karma ceases, because it does not possess causes and conditions. Therefore, if the continuum of forms, etc., which is established by its own characteristics, which enters into cyclic existence from beginningless time, and in which birth and death are transmitted one after another, ceases, then the fully enlightened Buddhas did not speak of that creation because the Blessed One did not speak of the creation for such a reason. In this regard, you must speak of the final creation of that continuum of your aggregates in the same way. Did he not speak because he did not know, or did he not speak for some other reason? In this regard, since the Blessed One is acknowledged to be omniscient, it is impossible that he did not know. To say that he did not speak for some other reason is also unreasonable. To say that he did not speak because it is beginningless like a water bucket wheel is to say that if that were the case, just as the water bucket wheel is beginningless, so too would its end be nonexistent. The same should be said of the examples of wheels and so on. If it is said that there is an end because it is said that it will be exhausted, then the Buddha, the Blessed One, would be ignorant. Since ignorance is impossible, creation must also be shown. Even if it is not shown, it is indispensable to combine it with this reasoning. Therefore, if there is creation, there must necessarily be, and completely hold what is seen. If one examines whether there is creation, then cyclic existence will become something with a beginning. If it becomes something with a beginning, then it will become an affirmation of the doctrine of causelessness, and therefore it will become a false view. For those who speak of dependent arising, there is no such fault. Whoever considers things to be dependently arising
