one should have particular faith in speaking about that nature. As the scriptures say, one should abide in explaining the absence of inherent existence of things through the wisdom of yogis, who have understood it, not relying on one's own knowledge, because we are the ones whose eye of wisdom is obscured by the darkness of ignorance. As it is said: The aggregates are by nature solitary and empty. Enlightenment is by nature solitary and empty. Whatever is practiced is also empty by nature. Those with wisdom know this, not children. Wisdom transforms into realizing emptiness, and after realizing the emptiness of knowable things, if one realizes it as being like the knower, then those who practice it are said to be on the path to enlightenment. As it is said. Therefore, this is not a refutation or examination of the yogis, because they do not see the inherent nature of any dharma even in conventional truth, and certainly not in ultimate truth. Put aside refuting and examining those with cataracts! For the time being, this is what you yourself should greatly refute and examine, it is said. If dreams, cities of gandharvas, mirage water, eye-trick illusions, reflections, etc., are seen as unborn, although they are similar to non-existence, how could you become like that, it is not reasonable. For example, seeing in a dream and the non-existence of a barren woman's son are similar, but dreams can be seen while a barren woman's son cannot. The same is true for cities of gandharvas. The so-called mirage water means that in a mirage it is called water. The same is true for eye-trick illusions. The word "etc." in "reflections, etc." includes echoes and emanations, etc. For example, even though they are inherently empty, they can be seen, but they are not the son of a barren woman. Therefore, first refute and examine yourself, and then later refute and examine me. Since this is unborn, why is it not a place of seeing in the world like the son of a barren woman? Therefore, it can also be said that this statement is uncertain. As the Bhagavan said: Beings are like dreams, in which there is no distinction.
