Those who say that the Vaibhashikas accept the ultimate truth, while the Madhyamikas accept the conventional truth, say so only because they do not understand the true meaning of the Madhyamika scriptures. Know that! Furthermore, those who think that what the Vaibhashikas say is the ultimate truth is considered the conventional truth by the Madhyamikas, those people also do not fully understand the true meaning of the scriptures. Like this, transcendental dharma should not be the same as mundane dharma, because this principle is uncommon, and the wise should be certain of it. Therefore, those who do not understand the teacher's intention and have not grasped the true meaning, but are only attached to the words and are afraid, completely abandon this transcendental dharma. Therefore, in order to correctly explain the true meaning of the scriptures, this "Entering the Middle Way" is written. Just as Nagarjuna's ocean of wisdom is frightening because of its extremely vast color, beings have abandoned all good paths from afar, so his words, like the water of blooming lotuses gathered in chapters, are now being fully irrigated by Chandrakirti. If the authors of the scriptures, such as Vasubandhu, Dignāga, and Dharmapala, were still alive, they would also be afraid of merely hearing the words, would they completely abandon this discourse that correctly explains the meaning of dependent arising? They would say so. Then, how should this be understood? It will be explained that the profound and frightening teachings that have already been explained can only be understood निश्चित (Tibetan: ངེས་པར་, Sanskrit Devanagari: निश्चित, Sanskrit Romanization: niścita, Literal Chinese meaning: certain) by people through previous habituation, and even if they are widely heard, others will not be able to comprehend them. Therefore, seeing those theories that are fabricated with one's own intelligence and clinging to one's own sect, one should abandon the fondness for other views as one would treat other sects. Just like the non-Buddhists, who have not left behind the habit of particularly believing in emptiness in their previous continuum, are able to abandon the desires, form, and formless afflictions of the three realms, and are able to approach other sects.

Just as one can see but not particularly incline towards the true meaning of the Able One (Shakyamuni Buddha). Know that those people are also like that; although they have heard much, they do not make use of understanding emptiness because they lack the seed of particularly inclining towards emptiness. Like this, even today, there are some who have placed the habit of particularly inclining towards emptiness in other lifetimes, and it seems that they understand the depth of emptiness only through the power of habituation. Similarly, those who, only through the power of habituation, see the tenets of the tirthikas as true, and who have completely degenerated, also seem to fathom the depth of emptiness. Therefore, in studying the Madhyamaka tenets, even if you see others applying their own intelligence to other tenets, you should abandon the thought of being as happy as you would be with tenets that clarify your own views. You should not be surprised at applying other tenets, but only be surprised at particularly inclining towards your own view of emptiness. From the good tenets of Master Nagarjuna, it is declared: May my merit pervade all directions, and may the sky of my mind be as white as an autumn star, free from the defilements of afflictions. May whoever obtains a mind-emanation as precious as a wish-fulfilling jewel quickly realize the entire world and proceed to the Sugata's realm! The explanation of the "Entering the Middle Way" clarifies the profound and vast path. Master Chandrakirti, who is devoted to the Mahayana, possesses unassailable wisdom and compassion. By milking milk from a cow painted in a picture, he reversed the attachment to truth. Therefore, the commentary is completed here. Most of the sources are written as in the sutras. If bilingual versions appear in the future, please translate according to the literal meaning of the root text and commentary, and examine and analyze them impartially. In the center of the unparalleled city of Kashmir, in the temple where jewels are hidden, during the reign of the Kashmiri king Palpawa Lha, the Indian Khenpo Tilaka Kalasha and the Tibetan translator Patsapa Nyima Drak translated according to the Kashmiri model. Later, in Rasa Mocher, the Indian Khenpo Kanakavarma and the same Tibetan translator consulted the Nyo Shakyapa model.
