These verses composed by the wise will surely eliminate all previous investigations made by others, because it is desired to manifest the attainment of true wisdom by completely cutting off the net of thoughts. If you think that there is also a similar fault, that is not possible, because we are establishing the non-establishment of reversal, which is unparalleled. When one realizes that other worlds exist, I, as the supreme meaning of the nature of knowable things, should be regarded as seen. Because the form of my view is the same as the basis with the same body. When admitting no-self, one can also say so, just like at that time. Similarly, when one realizes that there is an omniscient one here, I, as the supreme meaning of the nature of knowable things, should be regarded as seen. The reason and examples are those two alone. Similarly, this should also be applied to the determination of all things. Therefore, in this way: It does not arise from itself, how can it arise from others? It does not arise from both, how can it exist without a cause? Thus, what has been promised has been very well established. Here it is said, if things do not arise from themselves, others, both, and without a cause, then how do they arise? It is explained that if things have some kind of nature, then there can be no other way of arising. Without a doubt, it must arise or be regarded as arising from itself, others, both, or without a cause. Those who believe that things arise from Ishvara (自在天) and so on, according to their view, Ishvara and so on are either themselves, others, or both. Therefore, the statement that Ishvara and so on are the cause cannot escape the faults that have already been stated. Therefore, there is no fifth distinction of the cause that produces. Therefore, in order to show that because there is no other, and because the four distinctions have prevented arising, the nature of things is without arising. Because neither self, nor other, nor both arise, and because not depending on a cause does not exist, therefore things are without nature. Thus it is said.

Here it is said: If the nature of things is indeed unborn, then how are the unborn blue and so forth apprehended? Answer: The nature of blue and so forth never becomes the object of anything, so the nature of blue and so forth is not apprehended. If that is the case, then what should that which repeatedly appears in front as the nature of an object become? Answer: This is inverted, so it is not nature. Because only those with ignorance focus on it as their self, while those without ignorance do not focus on it. To show this, it is said: Because like clouds, thick ignorance covers the world, therefore all realms appear, arising as inverted appearances. Clouds are a collection of rain clouds. Because thick ignorance, like a collection of clouds, obscures the sight of the nature of blue and so forth, therefore children do not have the sight of the nature of blue and so forth, this is the state where self-nature appears and is clung to in inversion, this appears to those who truly cling to appearances as children. Here it is said: If one is covered by ignorance, then one will not see reality in any way, so how can one see inverted appearances? To show from external examples that they are not like that, it is because of ignorance that they appear as their nature: Just as with the power of cataracts, some see hairnets, double moons, peacock feathers, rainbows, bees, etc., as inverted. Just as those with cataracts, although the nature of hairnets and so forth is unborn, still cling to them as real things because of the power of cataracts. Likewise, due to the power of the fault of ignorance, the unwise see conditioned things, which are difficult to understand even with various wisdoms. This is because of the fault of ignorance that there are conditioned things, likewise, a person connected with ignorance, this is the act of manifestly accumulating merit, the act of manifestly accumulating non-merit, person

Action is a manifest fabrication, and it is also a manifest fabrication. Similarly, the Blessed One has said that when ignorance ceases, fabrication ceases. Therefore, in this way, if karma arises dependent on delusion, without delusion, it will not arise; only the unwise will certainly understand this. Just as the sun of wisdom dispels dense darkness, the wise will understand emptiness and be liberated. When the wise see that actions arise from the condition of ignorance, they will not only understand that actions are without inherent existence, but from understanding this, they will abandon ignorance and not cling to actions, because they have abandoned the cause of clinging. Therefore, they will be liberated from samsara. Here it is said: If form and so on have no inherent nature in the ultimate sense, then, like the son of a barren woman, since they do not exist in the ultimate sense, their nature will not exist even conventionally. The nature of form and so on also exists conventionally. Therefore, their very existence exists ultimately as well. Someone says: If things do not exist in that, then in name also like the barren woman's son. They will become non-existent, therefore, they are existent by nature. To this it should be said: Those who have become objects of dimness, etc., hair and so on are unborn. For a while, they should be questioned, and later, those who are related to the dimness of ignorance. Why do you see non-existent objects like hair and so on, but not the son of a barren woman? For a while, those whose eyes have been impaired by dimness and so on should be questioned. Later, why do you see form and so on, which are of unborn nature, but not the son of a barren woman? Those whose eyes of wisdom have been obscured by the dimness of ignorance should be debated and examined. We do not debate and examine this, because we yogis see things in this way, and others who want to attain the wisdom of yogis should also see the Dharma in this way.
