Its function is also non-different, so if the agent, action, and function become one, then these cannot be seen as one. For example, the cutter, the wood, and the act of cutting are not one. Moreover, since there is no self-awareness, it itself will not grasp it. In the "Lankavatara Sutra" it is also said: Just as a sword blade cannot cut itself, nor can a finger touch itself, so is the self-aware mind. Therefore, since there is no self-awareness, if there exists an unoriginated and unknowing, self-possessed other-powered entity, then who would not recognize its existence? What harm has the son of a barren woman done to you? Other-powered and other-born are not what was stated above? It has also been shown to be of the nature of unknowing. Therefore, if one admits that there exists an unoriginated and unknowing self-nature, having the essence of other-power, then, even if it has the same nature as other-power, what reason is there not to consider it as existing? What harm has the son of a barren woman done to you? The son of a barren woman refers to that which transcends all elaboration, becomes the object of the wisdom of the noble ones, and has an inexpressible nature. Do you also consider it to be existing? Whatever is said to be the cause of nominally existent things, that is also because other-power exists. If other-power does not exist at all, then what will become the cause of the conventional? Do you think that conventional things have no cause at all? Therefore, for the cause of this worldly expression, it itself is not existent, alas, alas! According to others' views, due to attachment to substance, all worldly conventions will be destroyed. Because of the lack of wisdom, through attachment to a small amount of substance, it is like not letting go of the other-powered vase, but filling it with water, due to one's own bad way of intelligence, the worldly establishment, established only by the world, stop! Go! Do! Cook! and so on, and likewise, form and feeling, and so on.

Realizing that all those that I am are perishable, therefore only decline is possible for this, not eminence. Therefore, in this way, from the perverted teacher, only entering the path of the system mixed with one's own conceptualization, from the path of the feet of the teacher Nagarjuna, becoming an outsider, there is no means of pacification. Why? Like this, those conventional truths themselves are lost from the truth, and because of being lost from it, liberation is not achieved. Again, why is liberation not achieved by being completely lost from the two truths? It is said: The conventional truth becomes the means, and the ultimate truth becomes the arising of the means. Whoever does not know the difference between these two, that person enters the wrong path with inverted conceptualization. As it is said in the Noble Samadhi of "Definitely Showing Thatness": The Knower of the World, without hearing from others, showed these two truths himself. Whatever is conventional is also ultimate, there is no third truth. Whoever causes beings to have faith in the Sugata for the sake of happiness, the Victorious One showed the conventional truth for the sake of beings, for the benefit of the world. Whatever six realms of sentient beings are shown, sentient beings, hell beings, animals, pretas, asuras, humans, and gods, the Lion of Men established conventionally. Likewise, lower castes and higher castes, rich families and poor families, groups of slaves and groups of servants, groups of women, men, and hermaphrodites, whatever differences there are among beings, you, the Incomparable One, have shown to the world. Having understood the conventional truth, you showed it to people for the benefit of the world. Beings who rejoice in this, in samsara, will enter the eight worldly dharmas: gain and loss, pleasure and displeasure, praise and blame, happiness and suffering. If gain is obtained, attachment arises to it. If it is not obtained, it becomes disturbed. Whatever else is not shown, know it in this way. The eight diseases will continuously harm it. Whoever speaks of the ultimate truth in relation to the conventional truth, know that those are the ones with mistaken minds. Impurity as purity, suffering as happiness, etc.
