Whatever is identified as the self-nature of things like "specialness" is their conventional truth. If the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, who are free from the imprints of ignorance, see the nature of things in a way that is not obscured, like seeing strands of hair, that is their ultimate truth. If such a nature is not invisible, then how do they see it? Although it is true, it can be said that they see it in a way that is not seeing. As the noble one said in the 'Entering the Two Truths Sutra': 'Son of the gods, if the ultimate truth were to truly become the nature of the objects of body, speech, and mind, then it would not be counted as the ultimate truth, but would become the conventional truth. However, son of the gods, the ultimate truth is beyond all expressions, without distinctions, unborn, unceasing, unspeakable, non-speaking, unknowable, non-knowing. Son of the gods, the ultimate truth is endowed with all perfections and transcends the realm of the objects of the omniscient wisdom. It is not like saying, "What is the ultimate truth?" All phenomena are false, they are deceptive phenomena. Son of the gods, the ultimate truth cannot be pointed out. Why? Because the one who points out, what is pointed out, and the object to whom it is pointed out, all these phenomena are unborn in the ultimate sense. Unborn phenomena cannot explain unborn phenomena.' Like this it is extensively explained. Therefore, in suchness, the distinctions between things and non-things related to it, one's own things and others' things, truth and non-truth, permanence and annihilation, permanence and impermanence, happiness and suffering, purity and impurity, self and non-self, emptiness and non-emptiness, characteristics and the basis of characteristics, oneness and otherness, arising and ceasing, and so on, do not exist, because its own nature is indeterminable. Therefore, if it is like that, then the noble ones are familiar with the thought of suchness.

Then, those who are not valid cognition, those who are not noble ones, are not. If one wants to speak of the harm of the world, if one also admits that the world's seeing is valid cognition when analyzing suchness, then that is so. If the world is valid cognition, then, what need is there for other noble ones who see the world itself? What is the use of the noble path? It is not reasonable for fools to be valid cognition either. Since it has been admitted that the world is valid cognition, and that itself is seeing suchness, therefore it must be admitted that ignorance has been abandoned. Because it is not reasonable for fools to be valid cognition either. For whom there is ignorance with what as its object, then for him, that is not valid cognition, but appears as erroneous, like those who do not understand examining jewels and so on. Just because the eyes and so on can determine suchness, in order to understand the noble path, if the diligence of keeping vows, listening, thinking, meditating, etc., also becomes without fruit, then that is not so either. Therefore, in any case, because the world is not valid cognition, at that time, the world has no harm. As said before, from this way of looking at it, in the case of suchness, the world is not valid cognition in any case, and in the case of suchness, the world has no harm either. Then, how does the world cause harm? It is said: The meaning of the world is eliminated by the fame of the world itself, if it is eliminated, the world will cause harm. For example, some people say that my things have been robbed, and others refute and examine him, what is that thing? He says it is a pot. Refuting, he says, the pot is not a thing, because it is measurable, like a pot in a dream, like this, on the object, the meaning of the worldly person is eliminated by the fame of the worldly person, this will cause the harm of the world. When one abides in the view of the noble ones, and takes the wise as valid cognition, then there is no harm of the world. The wise should examine other aspects in this way. Thus, the fame of the world admits arising from others.
