If the weaklings consider eye-consciousness to be such a cause, then existence becomes the other that depends on it, but since existence arises from existence, there is no need at all, so there is no arising. If one wants to completely abandon non-arising and does not admit that it exists, then at that time, from the non-existent consciousness, the eyes and so on are not the other, this fault has already been stated. Therefore, if one thinks that it arises from the other, then the other may exist, but arising cannot exist, and since that cannot exist, both cannot exist; arising may exist, but the other cannot exist, and since that cannot exist, both cannot exist, so in any case, the external object is not existent. Because of the emptiness of the external object, disappearing and disappearing, only sound remains. Therefore, this understanding is unreasonable. Now, in order to show that in the two of cause and effect, there is no time that depends on the cause, it is explained: If the producer produces the produced, and the other producer is the cause, then what is produced, is it existence or non-existence, or something that is neither both nor non-both? If it exists, then what does the producer need to do? If it does not exist, then what can it do? If it is both, then what does it do? If it is non-both, then what does it do? This is to say that the cause of the producer is not the produced that will exist, because it is not reasonable for something that has already been born to exist again. Because such faults have already been stated. Therefore, there is no need for conditions for it at all. What can those producers do for what is not going to be produced? Because it is non-existent like a donkey's horn. As it is said: Whoever wants the fruit to exist, and whoever wants the fruit not to exist, for the sake of the house, pillars and so on, the meaning of decoration will also disappear. So it is said. The Madhyamaka also says: If the nature of the fruit exists, then what will the cause produce? If the nature of the fruit does not exist, then what will the cause produce? If arising is not existent, then the cause itself is not reasonable. If the cause itself is not reasonable, then to whom will the fruit belong? So it is said. If it is both, then what will the conditions do for it?

That is, because it would fall into the fault of what has already been said. A thing of two, is the two itself, and what exists in the two itself is the two itself. Having the nature of existence and non-existence is also impossible in one moment of time. Therefore, a thing with that nature is not existence. Since it is not existence, then what can the causes that produce it do to it? As it is said in the scriptures: How can Nirvana become both existent and non-existent? These two cannot exist in one thing, just like light and darkness. Similarly, becoming an author and not becoming an author, having become and not having become, that is impossible. Is and is not, once it becomes, how is it possible because of mutual contradiction? So it is said. Separated from both, neither existence nor non-existence is the result, for that which is separated from both, what can those causes do? Because the result that has abandoned the nature of existence and non-existence is not existence. If existence and non-existence themselves are impossible, then saying neither existence nor non-existence, by preventing those, there will be no difference at all. When these two are not established, neither existence nor non-existence is impossible. As it is said: Neither non-existent nor existent, in Nirvana, as it is shown, if non-existence and existence are established, then it will be established. If any reason is spoken in order to fully establish birth, then those reasons are like dry firewood soaked in ghee, completely burned by the fire of your wisdom. It is enough to stir up the firewood of reason, which is promoted by the fire of your wisdom. If it is thought that the meaning of what is said will not be established without closely showing the reason, then that is not existence. For the meaning that is established from the world itself, there is nothing that reason can do, because the view of the world is very powerful. Whoever abides in his own view and considers the world as the standard, then what can be done by speaking reason here? The world can also understand that others arise from others, therefore, what does reason need here for existence to arise from others?
