Now it becomes even more excellent. The term "Wise Intellect" refers to the noble ones. Their truths are the truths of Wise Intellect, which is to say, the truths of the noble ones. Nature is one's own essence. The nature to be understood through subtle knowledge is subtle nature. That is, one becomes very skilled at understanding the subtle essence of the truths of Wise Intellect. In this context, the four noble truths are suffering, origin, cessation, and path. If the Blessed One only taught two truths, namely, the conventional truth and the ultimate truth, as it is said in the Sutra of Meeting Father and Son: "The Knower of the World, without hearing from others, taught these two truths as they are. Whatever is conventional is also ultimate; there is no third truth elsewhere." Also, in the Madhyamaka it is said: "The Buddhas teach the Dharma, relying truly on two truths: the conventional truth of the world and the ultimate truth." Therefore, if the four noble truths are different from the two truths, then where else are they? The answer is: Even if that is so, nevertheless, in order to explain the cause and effect of what should be accepted and what should be abandoned, the four noble truths are taught here. Among them, the side to be abandoned is complete affliction. Its result is the truth of suffering. The cause is the truth of origin. The side to be accepted is complete purification. Its result is the truth of cessation. The cause for attaining it is the truth of the path. Among them, the truths of suffering, origin, and path belong to the category of conventional truth. The truth of cessation is the essence of ultimate truth. Similarly, any other truth that exists in a small way should definitely be included in the category of the two truths as appropriate. Again, is there another truth different from the four truths? The answer is: Yes. As it is said in the fifth level of the Bodhisattva Grounds: "This is the noble truth of suffering, completely understood as it truly is. This is suffe

This is the arising of suffering. This is the cessation of suffering. This is the path leading to the cessation of suffering, the noble truth, thus he fully knows as it is. He is skilled in the conventional truth, skilled in the ultimate truth, skilled in the truth of characteristics, skilled in the truth of distinctions, skilled in the truth of analysis and understanding, skilled in the truth of reality, skilled in the truth of arising, skilled in the truth of knowing cessation and non-arising, skilled in the truth of entering the path of knowledge, skilled in the connection of all the stages of the bodhisattva grounds, from practice to the true arising of the Tathagata's wisdom. Therefore, he truly knows the thoughts of other sentient beings, satisfying them, thus fully knowing the conventional truth. Through correct devotion to the one and only path, he fully knows the ultimate truth. Through understanding the characteristics of self and others, he fully knows the truth of characteristics. Through understanding the distinctions and establishments of the Dharma, he fully knows the truth of distinctions. Through subsequently understanding the establishments of the aggregates, elements, and sense bases, he fully knows the truth of analysis and understanding. Through experiencing the harm to body and mind, he fully knows the truth of reality. Through understanding rebirth, he fully knows the truth of arising. Through completely pacifying all suffering tormented by epidemics, he fully knows the truth of knowing cessation and non-arising. Through realizing non-duality, he fully knows the truth of entering the path of knowledge. Through completely comprehending all aspects, he fully knows the connection of all the stages of the bodhisattva grounds, from practice to the true arising of the Tathagata's wisdom, as it is said. In the commentary on "Entering the Middle Way," the fifth mind generation is called "Difficult to Tame." Now, explaining with regard to the sixth mind generation: The mind abiding in equanimity, turned towards manifestation, turns towards the Dharma of the perfect Buddha, this, seeing the suchness of dependent arising, through wisdom abiding, will attain cessation.

Ra. On the fifth Bodhisattva ground, having attained the complete purification of the perfection of meditation, on the sixth ground, the Bodhisattva who abides in the mind in equipoise and sees the profound suchness of dependent origination, due to the complete purification of the perfection of wisdom, will attain cessation, but not before. Because there is no surpassing wisdom. Because possessing excellent perfections such as generosity cannot attain cessation. Because the nature of phenomena, which is like an image, has been comprehended. Bodhisattvas, on the fifth Bodhisattva ground, because they focus on the truth of the path, and because they manifestly turn towards the Dharma of the complete Buddha, this ground is called the Manifest Ground. Now, in order to show that all other collections of qualities depend on the perfection of wisdom, it is said: Just as a crowd of the blind, all easily, A man with eyes, leads to the desired place, so here too, with the eye of wisdom, takes the qualities and goes to the victor's place. Just as a man with eyes can easily lead all the blind to the place they want to go, so too, the perfection of wisdom can take the qualities of other perfections and establish them in all the luminous grounds of the Sugata, because it is the very nature of seeing the right path and the wrong path. Here it is said: This seeing of the suchness of dependent origination, by abiding in wisdom, cessation is attained. As it is said, if a Bodhisattva sees the Dharma of dependent origination, then how can one see the suchness that arises from it? It is said: Its own nature is not the realm of us, whose eyes of wisdom are completely covered by a thick layer of ignorance, but it becomes the realm of Bodhisattvas who abide on the higher grounds such as the sixth. Therefore, one should not ask us about it, but rather those who, with the eye medicine of seeing emptiness without inversion, destroy the darkness of ignorance
