Just as one treats a worker, one should most certainly endure the causes that bring about suffering results. Intolerance, as has been said, is not only the cause of abandoning unpleasant ripening and bringing about unpleasant results, but also to show that it is also the cause of exhausting the accumulation of merit accumulated over a long period of time, it is said: Because for the princes, anger will destroy giving and discipline, etc., the virtues accumulated in hundreds of thousands of kalpas, therefore, there is no sin more serious than intolerance. If the great bodhisattva, because of the uncertainty of the difference of objects, even if it is determined, it arises because it depends on the habituation of afflictions, for those who have generated the mind of enlightenment, if they fabricate the faults of truth and untruth, if you generate a moment of anger, just like that, it will also destroy the accumulation of merit accumulated in hundreds of thousands of kalpas, that is, the accumulation of merit produced by the habituation of the perfections of giving and morality previously mentioned. If it is destroyed, then it goes without saying that a non-bodhisattva generates anger towards bodhisattvas. Therefore, just as the amount of water in the ocean cannot be measured by a scale, the boundary of ripening there cannot be determined. Therefore, in this way, the sin of bringing about unpleasant results and harming virtue is no more excellent than intolerance. It has also been said: Manjushri, anger is called anger because it destroys the virtues accumulated in hundreds of thousands of kalpas, therefore it is called anger. In addition, intolerance, those who cannot harm others, will only destroy themselves, while those who are capable and have no compassion will destroy themselves and others, which in itself will: make the image ugly, entangle the unholy; rob the wisdom of knowing the difference between Dharma and non-Dharma; then abandon the same kind, intolerance will quickly turn into evil destinies. If intolerance has those faults, then the merit of patience, which is the opposite of this

What is that? Explanation: Patience accomplishes virtues that are contrary to the faults already mentioned. Patience is beautiful, and for noble beings, for those who know compassion, what is lawful and unlawful, it can make one wise, and under it, one can obtain rebirth as gods and humans, and sins will be exhausted. The faults shown for impatience, and the virtues that are contrary to those faults, should be recognized in patience. Therefore, in this way, whether ordinary people or princes, having understood the faults and virtues of anger and patience, abandoning impatience, the noble ones should always quickly approach the praised patience. Anger and patience are anger and patience. Faults and virtues are faults and virtues, combining the words 'faults and virtues' of anger and patience separately. By understanding the virtues of patience in a way that is the opposite of the faults of anger as previously mentioned, abandoning impatience, one should always practice only patience. This is to show the classification of the perfection of patience. Even if dedicated to the enlightenment of perfect complete enlightenment, if there are three fixations, then that is worldly. Even if it has been completely dedicated to becoming a Buddha, if there is fixation on these three: who is patient, with what patience, and to which sentient beings is patience directed, then that patience is called the worldly perfection of patience. If there is no fixation, then the Buddha said that this is the transcendent perfection. Just as the perfection of patience of a Bodhisattva is purified on that ground, on that ground the prince's meditation, clairvoyance, and desire and hatred are completely exhausted. He can also constantly destroy the desire and attachment of worldly people. The word 'meditation' means proximity, and it also includes samadhi and immeasurables. As it is said in the third ground of the Bodhisattva, the Bodhisattva who dwells on the illuminating ground of the Bodhisattva is separated from desires, separated from sinful and unwholesome dharmas, and has joy and bliss born of separation with conceptualization and analysis.
