Here, some monks possess morality, abide restrained by the vows of individual liberation. Possessing complete rituals and conduct, they regard even the slightest faults as fearful. Properly upholding, they train in the objects of training, their actions of body, speech, and mind are completely pure, and with this they possess a pure livelihood, yet they boast of themselves (as virtuous). Well-guarded, this is the first instance of a transgressor of morality, pretending to be moral. Well-guarded, furthermore, here some monks properly uphold the twelve qualities of asceticism, yet they are attached to signs. Abiding in self-grasping and grasping at what is mine, this is well-guarded, the fourth instance of a transgressor of morality, pretending to be moral. Thus it is proclaimed. Therefore, they are always devoid of the activity of the two minds, even for all three. For beings, whether it is the one who abandons, the one who acts, or the one who is able to act, for all three of these, they will be devoid of the attachment to the two, such as real and unreal. Thus, for the time being, it has been proclaimed that Bodhisattvas possess complete morality. After that, in order to show that in general, the complete morality of others is also more excellent than generosity and so on, and that it has become the basis of all complete qualities. Therefore, it is said: The enjoyment of generosity, even in bad migrations, can arise, but beings who have damaged the foundation of morality also have various faults. It means that merely through generosity, the benefactor can possess morality, and for him, among gods and humans, there will arise particularly excellent complete enjoyment, however, because he has lost the root of morality, he will fall into bad migrations, becoming temporary beings, such as hells, cows, horses, elephants, monkeys, dragons, etc., and pretas with great magical powers, etc., for them, only various complete enjoyments will arise. Therefore, because the things that are born are completely exhausted, after that, he will no longer have enjoyment. If someone sows a small amount of seeds, but can obtain great fruits, and again obtains the part of the fruits

Because there, planting even more seeds, just as the great accumulation of fruits increases in time, the sequence will not be interrupted. Anyone who lives by small deeds, because of foolishness, only enjoys the previous seeds, because the increase and the accumulation of things are exhausted, how can there be a perfect fruit to be produced in the future? Similarly, because of not keeping the precepts, enjoying in an inappropriate place is also very foolish, because it is separated from the throwing that was not there before, and because all the previous throwing is enjoyed, the subsequent enjoyment cannot occur. The occurrence and completion of this enjoyment, which is separated from the foot of discipline, is not only very difficult to obtain, but also to show that it has fallen into the evil destinies, it is also very difficult to rise from the evil destinies. When one is free to act and dwells in harmony, if one does not cling to this self, one will fall into a cliff and be dominated by the power of others, who will lift it up from then on? It is said that if this at that time, like a hero dwelling in a harmonious place, wanting to be liberated from bondage, acts without relying on others, and dwells among beings such as gods and humans, if one does not cling to oneself, like a hero being bound and abandoned in a huge mountain ditch, who will rescue that person who has fallen into the evil destinies from then on? Therefore, in order to harm, one will surely fall into the evil destinies. Therefore, from there, even if one is born among people, it is said that two kinds of vipāka will be manifested. Because breaking the precepts in this way becomes the place of many faults, therefore, the Victorious One, after speaking of generosity, speaks of the words that follow the precepts. Therefore, in order to prevent the virtues such as generosity of the Victorious One, who has defeated all sinful dharmas, from being wasted, only the words of discipline are spoken at the end of the words of generosity. Because, if merit increases in the field of discipline, the enjoyment of the fruit will never be interrupted.
