is seen. In this way, it has been truly established that the agent exists, so the karma created by the agent will not be invalid. Now, in order to explain that the agent does not exist, then how can the karma created by the agent not be invalid? Therefore, it is declared: If the agent does not exist, then the karma will not exist, because the karma has no cause, and the agent has no cause. If the karma does not exist, there is no cause. If the agent does not exist, it is separated from what is to be done, because what is to be done is also called the cause of the agent. Therefore, the agent separated from what is to be done has no cause. If the theory of no cause is admitted, then cause and effect will be completely cancelled, so it is declared: If there is no cause, then the fruit and the cause will not be reasonable. If the existence of cause is admitted, then whatever is produced by the cause is the fruit, and what produces it is the cause, which is reasonable. For example, the cause of the vase is clay, the vase is the fruit, and the wheel and so on are its auxiliary conditions. If the theory of no cause is admitted, because it does not depend on the cause, like the flowers in the sky, the vase does not exist. If the vase does not exist, then how can its auxiliary conditions exist? In this way, if there is no cause, then the fruit and the cause will not be reasonable. Therefore, if there is no it, then action, agent and what is to be done will not exist. If there is no it, that is, no fruit and no cause, then what

Therefore, venerable objects of offering, such as the Three Jewels, parents, and other worthy recipients of offerings, should also be regarded as having the characteristics of offerings, etc. Similarly, if actions, agents, and effects do not exist, then non-virtuous actions such as killing should also be considered non-existent, and vice versa. When both virtue and non-virtue do not exist, to show that their results also do not exist, it is said: If virtue and non-virtue do not exist, then the results arising from them do not exist. If virtue and non-virtue both do not exist, then the satisfactory and unsatisfactory results produced by virtue and non-virtue will also not exist. Therefore, if there are no results, then the path to liberation and higher realms is not reasonable. If the results of worldly paths, which are characterized by meditative absorptions and formless absorptions, and fortunate rebirths exist, then it is reasonable to cultivate the worldly path to achieve this purpose. If Nirvana, which is characterized by liberation, also exists as a result, then for that purpose, it is reasonable to cultivate the supramundane Noble Eightfold Path. When there is no result, if there is no result, then the path to liberation and higher realms is not reasonable. Furthermore, if there is no result in this way, then all actions will become meaningless. Activities such as agriculture, commerce, and hired labor, which are undertaken for the sake of results, are all unreasonable if there are no results. Therefore, all actions will become meaningless, but these are not meaningless. Therefore, denigrating higher realms and liberation, which are the source of all faults, contradicts the visible and invisible causal phenomena that lead sentient beings to great precipices such as hells. Therefore, the view that a non-agent can do what is not done is completely wrong. Therefore, having correctly established these two commitments, to explain that the nature of the agent does not do the nature of the agent, it is said: One who has become an agent and one who has not become an agent, the agent who has become and has not become does not act.

That which has being and non-being, and that which has and does not have action, whatever exists is the agent, and that which does not exist does not act. Why? For the transformation of being and non-being, they are mutually contradictory, how can they exist? It is unreasonable for one thing to have action and not have action at the same time. Therefore, the agent being and not being, also does not do the karma being and not being. Because it is thought to be non-existent. Having refuted the similar side in this way, in order to also negate the dissimilar side, it is said: If the agent is already accomplished, then the unaccomplished karma is not done, and the unaccomplished one will not do the accomplished. For the time being, if the agent is already accomplished, having action, then it will not do the unaccomplished karma, not having action, why? Because here also the same fault will be committed. If it is already accomplished, then there is no action, and there will be karma without an agent. Thus, if the agent is already accomplished, then it will not do karma. If karma is unaccomplished, it is also not an agent, because if karma is unaccomplished, it will become causeless, therefore, if there is no cause, then all faults such as no result will arise. Therefore, for the dissimilar side, because it has already been refuted by the reasons mentioned before, it should not be established again. If the agent is already accomplished, then it will not do karma if it is unaccomplished, just as it has been shown like this, similarly, according to the order that has already been said, if the agent is not already accomplished, not having action, it will also not do karma if it is already accomplished, it should also be explained in detail. Like this, temporarily analyzing each word of the dissimilar side, and then refuting it, now analyzing each word with two words, wanting to refute it, therefore it is said: If the agent is already accomplished, and has, the unaccomplished karma, and the accomplished and unaccomplished, will not do, because the reason has already been explained in the front. If the agent is already accomplished, and has, then it will not do karma if it is unaccomplished, and accomplished and unaccomplished. How to say it? Because the reason has already been explained in the front. To this, is
