Okay. If someone also thinks that even if the definition does not hold, the defined thing (basis) exists. This is also not the case. Why? If the definition does not hold, then the defined thing will not be established. When the definition itself does not exist, how can it become the defined thing? You think that it is non-existent in itself. Here someone says: You have denied the establishment, but not the definition, therefore, because the definition exists, the defined thing also exists. It should be said: If the defined thing is not established, then the definition will not exist either. It is like this. When it is pointed out that "if the definition does not hold, then the defined thing will not be established," the defined thing is not established, and the definition is also non-existent, because there is no basis. When the definition does not exist in that way, because the definition exists, the defined thing also exists, what you said is non-existent. Why is this so? Therefore, the defined thing is non-existent, because the definition itself is non-existent. This is the conclusion. Here someone says: If the definition and the defined thing do not exist, then the emptiness of the nature of things exists. If emptiness becomes the nature of things, then it will also become the defined thing or definition, therefore, the defined thing and definition also exist. This is also unreasonable, saying: Apart from the defined thing and definition, things also do not exist. How the defined thing and definition do not exist, is as said above. When these do not exist, because they are separated from the defined thing and definition, emptiness does not exist like a flower in the sky. If emptiness does not become a thing, then will non-things become existent? This is also not the case.
