Moreover, it is not the case that inversion makes inversion into inversion, because it has not become inversion. Therefore, it is also not possible for some things that are becoming inverted to have inversions. For those that have become inverted, those that have not become inverted, and those that are becoming inverted, it is impossible for them to be like that, and because it is impossible, now for which ones is it possible for inversions to exist? As an impartial person, discern with wisdom! Therefore, if that is the case, then because there is no basis, inversions also do not exist. Furthermore, if inversions are not born, how can they exist? If inversions are unborn, where are those who possess inversions? Regarding this, things do not arise from themselves, nor are they born from others. If not from self and other, where are those who possess inversions? Where are those who possess inversions, this is the concluding statement. Therefore, inversions certainly exist, because those who possess inversions exist, it is unreasonable to say that. If you also admit that these four inversions exist slightly, then even so, it cannot be established as inversion itself. Why? Like this, if self and purity, as well as permanence and happiness, exist, then self and purity, as well as permanence and happiness, are not inversions. If you establish that self and purity, as well as permanence and happiness, are inversions, then, do those exist or not? If they exist, then they are not inversions, because they exist, like selflessness and so on. If they do not exist, then at that time, because those do not exist, not only does inversion itself not exist, but also because there is no opposite inversion, those who are inverted, such as selflessness and so on, also do not exist, in order to show this reason, if self and purity, as well as permanence and happiness, do not exist, then selflessness, impurity, impermanence, and suffering do not exist. Saying this, if you think that because it does not exist, it is impossible to become inversion itself, therefore self and purity, as well as permanence and happiness, do not exist, if you think like that, then, because self and so on do not exist, what selflessness and so on

Even clinging to quiescence itself should be abandoned, for if there is no object to be negated, there is no negation. When things like selflessness do not exist in this way, how can it be inverted like self, etc., since it is not established by its own nature? Therefore, those who desire liberation should abandon all eight inversions. To show that these analyses of inversions, as explained, are the cause of abandoning ignorance, etc., and therefore have great significance. Thus, when inversions cease, ignorance will also cease. If ignorance ceases, actions, etc., will also cease. As it is said, when the yogi does not apprehend inversions with the reasoning explained above. Thus, not apprehending inversions, the ignorance that is its cause will cease. When that ceases, the aggregates, etc., which are the cause of ignorance, up to old age and death, will also cease, because ignorance is the cause of all collections of afflictions and suffering such as birth. Just as all colored faculties that are the cause of the body's faculties cease when the body's faculties cease. The aggregates, etc., which are the cause of ignorance, the arising of the limbs of existence, will certainly cease when ignorance ceases, to show this. If ignorance ceases, actions, etc., will also cease. It is said. Here it is said, if ignorance ceases because inversions cease. Then, what is it that ceases because inversions cease in this way? Ignorance exists, because seeking a way to abandon a non-existent sky mango branch does not exist. Therefore, ignorance exists, because seeking a way to cease it exists. Therefore, afflictions such as desire, their cause exists. Because afflictions exist, the continuum of existence also exists. It should be said, alas! Those who are most excellent in accomplishing the benefit of other noble ones, without relying on anything, with the power of skillful means and wisdom, completely destroy the great tree of the poisonous tree of afflictions.

Regarding completely eradicating all extremely powerful forces, not only do they not strive to cultivate strength, but they vehemently oppose those who eradicate it, and they cultivate the great poisonous tree of arrogant afflictions with extreme reverence. This is truly the mark of someone who is highly skilled in what is not the right path! Furthermore, if there were a way to abandon afflictions such as ignorance, one would seek a method to abandon them, but abandoning them is not possible. Why? Because if afflictions exist, they must exist either by their own nature or by not being their own nature. What would happen then? If one wishes to abandon those afflictions that exist by their own nature, that is not reasonable. Why? As it is said: If the afflictions of some, which exist by their own nature, how can they be abandoned? Who would abandon what exists? The nature of things that exist by their own nature cannot be reversed, just as the hardness of earth and other elements cannot be changed. Similarly, if the afflictions of some, that is, beings, such as ignorance, also exist by their own nature, how can they be abandoned? No one can abandon them. And why are they said to be abandoned? "Who would abandon what exists?" This is said because self-nature cannot be reversed, just as the unclouded nature of space cannot be reversed. If one thinks that they exist by not being their own nature? Even then, abandonment is not possible, it is said: If the afflictions of some, which do not exist by their own nature, how can they be abandoned? Who would abandon what does not exist? Afflictions that do not exist by their own nature, that is, those that are not possessed, also cannot be abandoned. The non-existence of cold in fire cannot be reversed. Similarly, these afflictions do not exist by their own nature for anyone or anything, so who would abandon them? No one would abandon them. Therefore, in either case, abandonment is possible
