will become a nihilist. Here said: Even if things are admitted to exist, they will not become nihilistic, nor will they become permanent. Why? Because of what? The arising and ceasing of the fruit from the cause, that continuity is existence. The continuity of the arising and ceasing of cause and effect, that is our existence, that is, samsara. If the cause ceases, and the fruit born of that cause does not arise, then, at that time, it will become nihilistic. If the cause does not cease, and remains in its own nature, then, at that time, it will also become permanent, but that is not the case. Therefore, even if things are admitted to exist, there is no fault of leading to the view of permanence and annihilation. The continuity of the arising and ceasing of conditioned things, the cause and effect arising in sequence without interruption, that is samsara. Therefore, we do not have this fault. It should be said: If the continuity of the arising and ceasing of the fruit from the cause is existence, even so, because there is no rebirth after destruction, the cause will become nihilistic, isn't it? Which moment of the cause becomes the cause for producing the fruit and then ceases, the moment of the cause is connected with destruction, and that will not be reborn, therefore it will become a nihilist. How do you not have this fault? Admitting the existence of things will have this fault, but I have not admitted the existence of things, because all dharmas are unborn. Where? What arises depending on what, that is temporarily not itself, nor is it different from it, therefore, it is neither annihilation nor permanence. In the place where it is said like this, I also show that things have no self-nature in this way. If it is not like that, if things have their own self-nature, then how can seeds and sprouts become different? Therefore, this inference does not harm us. In this way, temporarily if it is admitted that things exist, the cause will not arise, therefore it will become a nihilist, after saying this, now in order to say the fault of permanence, if things have self-nature, they should not become non-things. Having said this, if the cause exists by its own nature, then it is not existence later

Because it does not change, because its nature does not have transformation. Therefore, it falls into the view of permanence. Furthermore, at the time of Nirvana, there is cessation, because the continuum of existence is completely pacified. If, again, the continuum of arising and ceasing of causes and effects prevents falling into the view of permanence and annihilation, even so, then where that continuum does not arise, that Nirvana will definitely become a view of annihilation. The Blessed One said that the view of annihilation should be avoided. If you say that such a way is not a view of annihilation, then why do you think it is? Just as at the time of Nirvana, one focuses on the complete cessation of things, it is thought to be because one focuses on the complete cessation of things. Also, if you say, "The effect is the continuum of arising and ceasing of the cause, that is because it is existence (bhava)," that is also unreasonable. Why? Here, the last existence (bhava) is the nature of transformation, and the first is the nature of connecting the going (འགྲོ་བ།) itself. Thereupon, the last existence (bhava) is ceasing, it exists as the cause, and the first existence (bhava), which has the nature of birth, exists as the nature of the effect, and these two existences (bhava) are named Samsara. Here, it needs to be analyzed from what the continuum of cause and effect becomes Samsara? Is that which the first existence (bhava) exists as the nature of the effect, is it when the last existence (bhava) has ceased? Or has it not ceased? Or is it produced when it is ceasing? If analyzed, it will be shown that it is not existent in any way. Therefore, it is said: "When the last has ceased, the first existence (bhava) will not arise. When the last has not ceased, the first existence (bhava) will not arise." Thus it was said. To that, if one thinks that when the last existence (bhava) has ceased, the first existence (bhava) arises, then at that time it will become without a cause, and a sprout will also arise from a burnt seed, which is not desirable. Therefore, when the last has ceased, the first existence (bhava) is unreasonable. Now, even when the last existence (bhava) has not ceased, the first existence (bhava) will not arise, if it arises, it will become without a cause, one sentient being has two natures, an unprecedented sentient being appears, with
