What, morality does not revert and does not completely transcend sorrow. Venerable ones, concentration, as well as wisdom, as well as liberation, as well as the wisdom vision of liberation, also do not revert and do not completely transcend sorrow. Venerable ones, if those dharmas are shown to completely transcend sorrow, then those dharmas are also emptiness, selflessness, and ungraspable. Venerable ones, like this: abandon the perception of transcending sorrow, and do not make perception into perception, and do not completely know perception with perception. Whoever completely knows perception with perception, then he is completely bound to perception. Venerable ones, enter into the absorption of cessation of perception and feeling. Venerable ones, the monk who enters into the absorption of cessation of perception and feeling, there is nothing higher, thus he said. When this Dharma discourse was spoken, those five hundred monks, without taking, their minds were completely liberated from the defilements. After their minds were liberated, they went to the place of the Bhagavan and arrived, bowed their heads to the feet of the Bhagavan, and stayed on one side. Then, the Venerable Subhuti said to the monks like this: Venerable ones, from where did you come? From where did you arrive? They said: Venerable Subhuti, the Bhagavan has declared the Dharma of not going anywhere and not coming from anywhere. He said: Venerable ones, who is your teacher? He said: He who is unborn and does not completely transcend sorrow. He said: How did you hear the Dharma? He said: Not for the sake of bondage, nor for the sake of liberation. He said: By whom are you tamed? He said: By whom who has no body and no mind. He said: How do you strive? He said: Not for the sake of abandoning ignorance, nor for the sake of generating knowledge. He said: How are you liberated? He said: Not for the sake of joining, nor for the sake of abandoning. He said: Whose disciples are you? He said: Of whom who has no attainment and no complete enlightenment. He said: What is your companion in pure conduct? He said: What three realms
