Bound by that. Thus, the binding of nature dominated by the person, the person who was previously bound, will later be liberated. How is it that the binding of nature dominated by the person binds the person beforehand? Previously, as long as the mind belonging to nature does not think that the master of the mind is also other, and the nature of courage, dullness, and darkness is also other, as long as it does not think so, then the mind will not generate the knowledge of being alone, so the mind itself is bound. The mind being bound, just as an image arises depending on form, also binds the person. This is the binding of nature dominated by the person, which binds the person beforehand. How is it that the binding of nature dominated by the person liberates the person who was previously bound? When the mind belonging to nature thinks that the master of the mind is also other, and the nature of courage, dullness, and darkness is also other, then the mind will generate the knowledge of being alone, so the mind itself is liberated. The mind being liberated, just as an image arises depending on form, also liberates the person. Thus, the mind thinks that itself is also other, and nature is also other, so itself is liberated, like form, depending on this, the person will also generate the same knowledge, like an image, the person is liberated, this is the binding of nature dominated by the person, which liberates the person who was previously bound. Thus, the liberation of the person is called Nirvana. In order to refute the unreasonable views of those who say so, an explanation is given here. Those people think that themselves are also other, and nature is also other, and thus determine the mind, but for the person who has not generated the difference between before and after, saying what is bound and liberated is no different. The Samkhyas think that the mind is like form, the earth lord is also other, and nature is also other, and thus determine that themselves are liberated, and the person, like an image, will also be liberated. The Samkhyas themselves say in their scriptures that the person is eternal.

Because they believe that there is no difference between before and after change, even if it has been determined that the mind belonging to nature also thinks that the self is different from the other, and nature is also different from the other. However, for the eternal and unchanging person, in whom no difference has arisen between before and after, what state binds him, which is called the difference of bondage, and what state liberates him, which is called the difference of liberation, because there is no special indication, so just like form and shadow, the liberation of nature cannot liberate the person, therefore the person has no liberation. If the Samkhyas say this: In our school, there is a dharma called complete transformation, just as the nature of gold does not change, but the shapes of bracelets and armlets completely change, the nature of the person does not change, but through the mind, he also thinks that the self is different from the other, and nature is also different from the other, thereby attaining liberation, then the person will also completely transform into that form, therefore the person will also attain liberation. In order to answer this previous view raised from them, the commentator here says: Even if it is completely transformed, there will be the fault of not having knowledge because of the complete transformation. Because complete transformation is impermanent, it is the dharma of nature, not the dharma of the person. Therefore, if that person is completely transformed, then there will be the fault of not having knowledge because of the complete transformation, so that is also not acceptable. If the Samkhyas say this: Just as an image arises merely because there is a form, merely because there is a mind, the person will generate the knowledge of aloneness. That is to say, when the mind of internal action belonging to nature, among the three qualities of sattva (明性,sattva,明性,goodness), rajas (激情,rajas,激情,passion), and tamas (暗性,tamas,暗性,darkness), sattva dominates, that mind will generate the certainty that the self is different from the other, and nature is also different from the other, so merely because the mind generates certainty, just as an image arises when there is a form, the person will also generate the knowledge of aloneness, therefore the person has liberation. This previous view
