Since the difference in dharma of the intellect that knows "the person is a dharma-possessor" has the fault of wrongly knowing some objects, therefore, the opponent's reason "because of wrongly knowing some objects" contradicts the reason of wrongly knowing the intellect that mistakes a tree stump for a person in general. The intellect that knows "the person is a dharma-possessor" cannot truly exist in some objects of a single person alone, it is merely a wrong knowledge of the collection of cause and effect, therefore, it shows that there is no real object of a single person separate from the collection of cause and effect. Some of the Samkhyas say: "Having knowledge itself is the nature of the purusha, because this is what all speakers should acknowledge, so we should not speak of inference to show that it exists, but rather we should explain its distinctions as the enjoyer, etc." Here, some of the Samkhyas think that "having knowledge itself" is the nature of the purusha, because the purusha is the person, so the person is only existence. They say that in our treatises, "having knowledge itself" is the nature of the purusha, and the three qualities of courage, dust, and darkness being equal are nature, so nature is the doer, and the purusha is the enjoyer, like the blind and the lame. Therefore, having knowledge itself is also what all those who claim to have a person should acknowledge, so we should not speak of inference to show that it exists, because it would become a fault of proving what is already established. We should explain here those distinctions that the opponents do not know, such as having knowledge itself as the distinction of the enjoyer, permanence, omnipresence, abandonment, etc. Therefore, if others say this: "Having knowledge itself is the same thing as perception, and perception is intellect, therefore, having knowledge itself is not the nature of the purusha." The Samkhyas would say that in our treatises, having knowledge itself is the nature of the purusha, not intellect.

The term "Nana" is not found in the doctrines of Buddhists and others. If Buddhists and others think that the nature of "Pudgala" does not exist and say so, then this is also an unreasonable statement. To show how this is an unreasonable measure, it is also unreasonable because the mind is not conscious, because it is produced. For example, like a pot, it is said. He thereby shows the establishment measure that the mind is not conscious, these are the subject, the dharma to be established, the dharma that can establish, and the metaphor, combined in order. For example, a pot is not conscious because it is produced, similarly, the mind is also not conscious because it is produced. Similarly, because it is the object of purification, the object of defilement, the object of benefit, and so on. For example, like dust and so on. Therefore, the mind is not conscious, this is the reason and metaphor for the previous establishment, these are also combined. For example, dust and so on are the object of purification of dirt, the object of being defiled by dirt, the object of benefit through cleaning and so on, therefore it is not conscious, similarly, the mind is also the object of purification of dirt, the object of being defiled by dirt, the object of benefit through practice and so on, therefore it is not conscious. Therefore, the mind is not conscious. Its consciousness does not belong to the category of enjoyers, therefore it is established that it is the eater, named "I" and " क्षेत्रज्ञ (梵文天城体:क्षेत्रज्ञ,梵文罗马拟音:kṣetrajña,汉语字面意思:knower of the field)" etc. are its synonyms. Therefore, the so-called consciousness is not the nature of the mind as Buddhists and others think, but the nature of Pudgala. Therefore, it does not belong to the category of enjoyers like courage, dust, and the nature of darkness blind, therefore it is established that it is the eater like a paralytic. The synonyms of its name are consciousness, Pudgala, eater, I, क्षेत्रज्ञ (梵文天城体:क्षेत्रज्ञ,梵文罗马拟音:kṣetrajña,汉语字面意思:knower of the field), because it appears in all fields of knowledge.
