Therefore, in this way, the reason should exist in what is to be inferred, and in the manner of existing in the similar side, if it must be universally present in both the side and the similar side, then here, you have made all bodies as the side, because there is no other example of the similar side, so your reason is that because the right hand sees, the left hand recognizes, because it is experienced and remembered, because the goal is action, this becomes non-common to both the side and the similar side. Because it does not follow, it is not appropriate, it should be applied in this way. What is called spoken by others who boast of being wise are those arrogant ones who hope to be known as wise by others who claim to be themselves. By approaching the word "I" and the object of thought, and by the reason of wrong understanding, it shows two kinds of inference that the word "I" and the object of that thought exist in a separate thing. Among them, the word "I" on the body actually exists in another object, because it is close to something. For example, the word "lion" on a Brahmin boy is close to something, just as the lion's mane and beard are piled up on something different from it. Similarly, the word "I" which is close to the body, senses and consciousness is also close to something, so it actually exists on something different from it, so it is "I", therefore "I" is the only existing one. This is the inference that the object of the word "I", the "I", actually exists in a separate thing by the reason that the word "I" is close to other objects. They are the subject, the dharma to be proven, the dharma of proof, the example, the application of approach, and the conclusion, applied in order. For example, the word "lion" on a Brahmin boy is close to something, so the object of the word "lion" exists on something different from the Brahmin boy, that is, the real thing of the lion's mane and beard piled up, so the word "lion" is the Brahmin boy's

It is merely approximated to the realm of "lion," but actually refers to the realm of the lion. Just as the realm of that word, the real lion, also truly exists. Similarly, the word called "I," which is approximately applied to the aggregates, and its realm, apart from the aggregates, there also exists a real "I" with characteristics such as permanence and pervasiveness. Therefore, the word called "I" is merely approximated to the realm of the aggregates, but actually refers to the realm of "I." So, the realm of that word, the real "I," also truly exists. They say this. Or, whatever wisdom recognizes "I" is definitely one that possesses a truthful object, because it mistakenly recognizes other objects. For example, like mistaking a tree stump for a person. Similarly, recognizing the realm of cause and effect as "I" is also a mistake. Therefore, since other objects are mistakenly recognized, whatever realm apart from that is truthful is "I." Therefore, "I" truly exists. This is the second inference that proves that the wisdom that recognizes "I," its real "I" object, exists separately, based on the reason that the wisdom that recognizes "I" mistakenly recognizes certain other objects. Those also combine the subject, the property to be proven, the proving property, the example, the application of proximity, and the conclusion in order. For example, just as the wisdom that recognizes a person mistakenly recognizes a tree stump, the realm of that tree stump, apart from the tree stump, there also exists a person with consciousness, therefore, the wisdom that recognizes a person is merely approximately applied to the realm of the tree stump, but actually refers to the realm of the person. So, the real object of that wisdom also truly exists. Similarly, the wisdom that recognizes "I," its approximate object is cause and effect, and its realm, apart from cause and effect, there also exists a real "I" that is not cause and effect, with characteristics such as permanence and pervasiveness. Therefore, the wisdom that recognizes "I" is merely approximately applied to the realm of cause and effect, but actually refers to the realm of "I." So, the object of that wisdom, the real "I," also truly exists.
