The son and the mirage are like dreams. Afflictions such as attachment, and the body characterized by karma and aggregates such as the mind, and what arises from the mind, called the doer, and the result characterized by experiencing happiness and suffering in the five realms, produced by the accumulation of causes and conditions, are conventionally known as the means to attain heaven and liberation. Because these are conventionally accepted, there is no fault in not slandering karma and its results, as stated. Therefore, there is no fault of not seeing only that for those who speak of the Middle Way. If, in reality, they slander those, then that is not an answer, it is said. If those others say this, although the Madhyamikas conventionally accept those, they slander them in reality, so the previous statement is not an answer. The answer to that is: That is, if things were not established before, then non-things would not be accomplished. To say "exists" is to grasp at permanence. To say "does not exist" is to see annihilation. Therefore, the wise should not abide in existence and non-existence. As it was shown there, because accomplishment was spoken of, and because it was not accepted that karma and result do not exist, it is not the case that it is not an answer, it is said. That is, in the section on the analysis of the absence of things, as it was shown there, because we spoke of the accomplishment of negating non-existence, and because it was not accepted that negation is not, our previous accomplishment is not the case that it is not an answer. The three things, such as wordiness, which have just passed, are to show the meaning of those examples that show the reversal of grasping things as existent, in order to show a different kind of explanation. Or, for those who have a confused mind, if things are without inherent existence in reality, then because there is no karma and result, and their connection, and the doer and the eater, is it meaningless to abide in celibacy? For those who think like this, in order to remove the veil of confusion. Karma and so on are shown to exist in the manner of illusion and so on in the conventional sense. How does illusion show itself? By the perfection of magic, illusion and illusion also illusion others, that illusion also

Like others, etc. It is said that it is said extensively like this. Here, the meaning of the debate is that by refuting the faults of the reasons stated by the opponent in the first debate, it is shown that karma and result are without self-nature, which is the conclusion and the fruit of valid cognition. In the seventeenth chapter of the debate on examining karma and result, the meaning of the debate is regarded as the fruit of valid cognition because the opponent initially truly said in this debate that for the internal aggregates, etc., samsara exists because it is related to karma and result, etc., refuting the faults of the stated reasons, thereby showing that karma and result are without self-nature. What are the merits of showing that karma and result are without self-nature? And in order to eliminate others saying that this teaching only accomplishes with meager hopes and empty conceptual constructs, here also the source of reliable scriptures should be established. Therefore, in the "Chapter of Immaculate Giving" of the Great Collection of Jewels Sutra, it says: For whom there is no karma and no result of karma, that is enlightenment. Just as enlightenment is, so is attainment. Just as attainment is, so is prophecy. Similarly, whatever is the lineage of the noble ones, for it there is no karma, and there is no ripening of karma. For that lineage, the body does not act, speech does not act, and mind does not act, etc., those that are said are established. The lineage of the noble ones is that the noble ones are born from understanding reality. If in reality there is also a connection with karma and result, then there would be no difference between samsara and nirvana, therefore, the scripture that reveals that karma and result are without self-nature is that, therefore, the Madhyamikas have no wrong views. Thus, the establishment of those reliable scriptures is the merit and source of showing that karma and result are without self-nature. These scriptures show that the object to be explained is also the teacher's.
