Therefore, for those who speak of dependent origination, it is impossible to say that this action arises from causes; and for those who say that it arises from no cause, it is also impossible to say that this action arises from no cause. Therefore, action is neither temporarily arising from causes, nor is it arising from non-causes. Because action does not exist, it is thought that the agent without action also does not exist. Therefore, as stated above, if action and agent do not exist, then where is the fruit born from action? Therefore, if we examine it in this way, if there is no action and no agent, how can there be a fruit born from action? If it exists, then it is not a fruit born from action, but a fruit arising from no cause, which is undesirable, because it would lead to many faults. Therefore, if the fruit does not exist, then where is the enjoyer? Because the very utterance of the word 'enjoyer' is without cause. If the fruit does not exist, then how can the enjoyer exist? In this way, if one becomes the enjoyer of the fruit, then the fruit is also unreasonable, because if there is no fruit, then who will become the enjoyer? Therefore, saying that the agent, action, fruit, and enjoyer exist is merely a song. If the agent, action, fruit, and enjoyer are reasonable, then how can samsara be reasonable? Therefore, because there is an enjoyer who enjoys its fruit, the meaning of this reason is not established. If it is shown wrongly, then it is a contradiction in meaning. This is the conclusion and the result of valid cognition, therefore, the agent, action, fruit, and enjoyer are unreasonable, therefore, the opponent's reason, because there is an enjoyer who enjoys its fruit, this reason is not established in ultimate truth, and is contradictory in conventional truth. Here, some say that the view of slandering action and fruit is a wrong view, so the Madhyamaka school

Saying "Those whose eyes of wisdom are blinded by the darkness of error should not see only that" is a slanderous word from their own sect against the Madhyamikas. Because the Blessed One said that the view of slandering karma and its results is a wrong view, all of those will fall upon the Madhyamikas themselves. Why? Because the Madhyamikas believe that there is no agent, action, result, or enjoyer, and that even the collection of paths of samsara and nirvana are completely eradicated, so they say, "The statement of the Madhyamikas is that those whose eyes of wisdom are blinded by the darkness of error should not see only that." In order to answer those words they said, the commentator himself said here: "Like the performer of illusions, with the power of perfect magic, transforms and the transformed also transforms others, that transformation also transforms others like others, the creation of illusions should be connected in this way." This was said in order to show the metaphor of preventing the clinging to the existence of things. Just as a person who performs illusions transforms illusions with the power of perfect magic, and that illusion also transforms other illusions, and that other illusion also transforms illusions like other people, similarly, the agent who performs actions, and the enjoyers who enjoy the results of that action, are also the same way, thus showing. In order to show the things symbolized by that metaphor, it says: "Thus the agent performs actions, that is also like the appearance of illusion." Similarly, the agent of the action performed by the agent is also like the appearance of illusion, because it is the nature that arises from the continuous causes and conditions from beginningless time. That action is also like the appearance of illusion, because it has no self-nature. In order to show other metaphors of those, it says: "For example, an illusion transforms another illusion, the creation of illusion is also like that." For example, the illusion of the Tathagata transforms other illusions, and the function of that illusion is also without self-nature. That is to show the meaning of the conclusion of those metaphors and things, afflictions, actions, and bodies, etc., as well as agents and results, etc., like a Gandharva city.
