When knowledge arises, the combination of object, sense faculty, and consciousness is contact. That is the cause of experiencing the three kinds of feelings, therefore, by means of these, contact is easily distinguished. These have explained that contact arises from the condition of the six sense sources. Now, in order to explain that feeling arises from the condition of contact, it is said: From that contact, all feelings arise. This verse shows the nature, order, and connection of feeling arising from the condition of contact. It should be connected as "feeling arises from the condition of contact." "Feeling" means the meaning of individual awareness, that is, experiencing the three kinds of feelings. This shows the nature of feeling. "Arise completely" means to manifest and arise, which is a synonym for feeling arising from the condition of contact. Therefore, feeling arises from the condition of contact, this is the order and connection. These have explained that feeling arises from the condition of contact. Now, in order to explain that craving arises from the condition of feeling, it is said: Craving arises from the condition of feeling, craving arises for the meaning of feeling. This verse shows the nature, order, and connection of craving arising from the condition of feeling. It should be connected as "craving arises from the condition of feeling." "Craving" means the characteristic of desire, this shows the nature of existence. "Craving arises for the meaning of feeling" means that the ignorant and those who do not have learning and contemplation, like honey smeared on the edge of a sword, after a brief sweetness comes intense suffering, they do not understand the small pleasure and the great faults, therefore they develop craving for it. This shows that craving arises from the condition of feeling, this is the order and connection. If someone thinks that pleasant feeling is beneficial, therefore when experiencing it, they will desire it again and again, so it is reasonable to develop craving for it. Then, painful feeling is harmful when experiencing it,

If it has changed, one would not want that. How then could craving arise from that cause? This is the question asked by others. The answer to this is: When experiencing painful feelings, craving arises wanting to be associated with it, so there is no fault. They said this, thus showing that craving arises from feeling as a condition. Now, in order to show that grasping arises from craving as a condition, it is said, "If there is craving, there is grasping. The four aspects are grasping." This also shows the nature, order, and connection of grasping arising from craving as a condition. It should be connected as grasping arising from craving as a condition will arise. Grasping means that which has been grasped, so it is grasping. Some say that the increase of craving itself is grasping. Others say that it is the effort to obtain enjoyment. This shows the nature of grasping. "The four aspects" refers to desire, views, moral discipline, and the supreme adherence to vows, and the assertion of self are the characteristics of grasping. This shows the number, name, and individual characteristics. In this way, with craving as a condition, grasping will arise, which is the order and connection. They showed that grasping arises from craving as a condition. Seventy-ninth fascicle. Now, in order to show that existence arises from grasping as a condition, it is said, "If there is grasping, the existence of the grasper will fully arise." This also shows the nature, order, and connection of existence arising from grasping as a condition. It should be connected as existence arising from grasping as a condition will arise. Existence refers to the existence of karma, because it produces existence, it is existence. Or existence is arising, which is synonymous with arising and birth. The karma that is the cause of existence is existence, because the proximate cause is established for the result, just as "The appearance of the Buddhas is happiness."
