Having said this, because the main thing is negation, it is not truly existent, and it is unreasonable to establish it as an entity that is not established by duality. Because that is the meaning of negating non-existence, it is only negating the non-existence of the apprehended and the apprehender. Because the nature of that entity without the two is not something else. Establishing an entity that is non-existent other than the non-duality, it is shown that the establishment is unreasonable. However, if it is the meaning of negating non-existence, then because establishing it is the main thing, it will show the non-existence of things, which is not allowed, because it is the extreme of negation. Having said this, if it is the meaning of negating non-existence, then it shows that there is an entity that is non-existent other than the non-existence of the apprehended and the apprehender. If it is established that non-existence is existence, because it is the extreme of negation, that is not allowed. Here, it should be allowed to negate non-existence. It should not be allowed to negate non-existence, because it shows its faults. Saying that a rabbit has no horns is also not the non-existence of things, like this, if the non-existent thing is the same as the true meaning, it will establish the view of annihilation. If it is established that there is a non-existent thing other than the rabbit's horns, it will become a view of annihilation, similarly, if it is established that there is a non-existent thing of true meaning other than the non-existence of the apprehended and the apprehender, it will become a view of annihilation. If it is established that existence is existence, it will become a view of permanence, and if it is established that non-existence is non-existence, it will become a view of annihilation. So, what is that non-objective purity like? Because it is also said that you who only observe it are discriminating the self-nature purity of the Parinishpanna. Therefore, the Madhyamikas ask the Yogacharas, what is the purity of the object of that Parinishpanna like? If the answer is with the self-nature of non-discrimination, then, after asking this, the Yogacharas answer that the self-nature of non-discrimination is the purity of the object of the Parinishpanna, this is what they say. Because the true

In some instances, when correct wisdom focuses on suchness, they say that with the nature of not conceptually distinguishing the self-nature and characteristics, etc., of phenomena, its object is completely pure. To show that this is unreasonable, the wisdom with an object is not called non-conceptual, because although it does not conceptually think "this is this," it appears as an object, just like eye consciousness. They say this by saying "just like eye consciousness." Those are applied in order as the subject, the thing to be proven, the proving property, and the example. For example, eye consciousness does not have conceptual discrimination and recollection discrimination, so although it does not conceptually think "this is this," that is, it does not conceptually distinguish the self-nature and characteristics, etc., of phenomena, but because there is a concept of self-nature, and because an object appears, it is not called non-conceptual. Likewise, your correct wisdom, which has the object of suchness, although it does not cling to the appearance of the nature of what is completely imputed, therefore it does not conceptually think "this is this," that is, it does not conceptually distinguish the self-nature and characteristics, etc., of phenomena, but because it has an object, and because an object appears, it becomes the fault of being non-conceptual, so it cannot be said that with the nature of non-conceptual, its object is completely pure, because if there is an object, it is not called non-conceptual. In short, they have shown that the Yogācāras' view that in the ultimate sense, correct wisdom has the object of suchness, and the object is completely pure, is unreasonable because it contradicts reason. Now, to show that it contradicts scripture, it is said in the Sutra Pitaka: "What is the ultimate truth? Where even close knowledge does not enter, what need is there to mention letters?" and "Not seeing is the only seeing." and "Brahmā, the enlightenment of the Tathāgatas is without an object." and so forth, which contradicts what was said. By the word "and so forth," from the Sutra Taught by the Noble Vimalakīrti, the elder Śāriputra to the noble Vimalakīrti
