If, at the time of non-seeing, all objects of focus are pacified, that statement is not established. Now, the Yogācāras say that the so-called perfectly established nature, which is the suchness of all dharmas, is the absence of inherent existence through the absence of inherent existence in the ultimate sense, which is the pacification of all objects of focus. If it existed in the ultimate sense, that statement would not be established. In order to refute this view and explain the third examination. Similarly, what is the so-called perfectly established nature? Thus it is said. Therefore, what is the so-called perfectly established nature? How is it the absence of inherent existence through the absence of inherent existence in the ultimate sense? This explains the examination. If asked what is the suchness of all dharmas, the Yogācāras say that the so-called perfectly established nature is the non-attachment to the manifested imputed nature on the dependent nature, but rather the pure correct wisdom that focuses on the suchness of the dharmas of dependent nature. This is to explain this view. In order to show that the Madhyamikas consider this unreasonable. Then, in the ultimate sense, these dharmas themselves are not established, so their dharmata is also not reasonable, is it not? Thus it is said. Because in the ultimate sense the dharmas of dependent nature are not established, their suchness is also not reasonable, therefore the perfectly established nature also does not exist, this is the conclusion. If it is said that in conventional terms, the things that arise as dream-like nature, in the ultimate sense, are not so existent, this is the suchness of all dharmas, then this can only establish the non-arising of inherent existence, therefore this is only following the statement of the Madhyamikas. The meaning of saying this is that, if this is the case, one must abandon the statement that the perfectly established nature exists in the ultimate sense, because this non-existence itself is not a real entity. Thus it is explained. If someone thinks that the perfectly established nature is not non-existent, but rather the characteristic of non-duality. As it is said in the scripture: "Two real and unreal, the characteristic of reality is emptiness." Like this saying,

The nature established on the ground is not that it does not exist in the ultimate sense, nor does it exist in the nature of being non-dual of the grasper and the grasped. It is like what is said in the Differentiation of the Middle and the Extremes. This is what they say. As an answer, in this case as well, it is said to examine by what reasoning it becomes non-dual. If it is said: Relying on the object, non-object arises; relying on non-object, non-object arises. Because of this reason. This is what the opponent says, relying on knowing as only mind, the knowledge of no object arises, relying on the knowledge of no object, the grasper does not become established, because that does not exist, therefore this also does not exist. By this reasoning it becomes non-dual. As an answer, that side has already been answered. Because the arising in the ultimate sense has been prevented. This negation of non-duality, etc., from the nature, there are two kinds of negation, namely, negation of non-existence and negation of non-being. Among them, negation of non-existence is the main negation, for example, negating that a Brahmin does not exist, does not establish that a Kshatriya caste exists, it only shows the negation that a Brahmin does not exist. Negation of non-being is the main establishment, for example, negating non-Brahmin, does not only show the negation of non-Brahmin, but establishes that it is a Kshatriya caste. Here, if this negation of non-duality is the meaning of negating non-existence, then it only shows the negation that the grasper and the grasped do not exist, it cannot establish that the reality of those two non-dualities exists. If it is the meaning of negating non-being, then it establishes that other than the non-duality of the grasper and the grasped, there exists a reality of non-existence, if it establishes non-existence as existence, then it will become the extreme of slander, therefore, it should not be grasped, so it shows that for the meaning that one wants to say, even by the method of two negations, it cannot be established that the reality of non-duality exists. In order to show that, if it is the meaning of negating non-existence, then the negation of those two non-dualities itself has already exhausted its power, it has not become the fault of non-existence, then
