If it does not exist, it is because there is no object of focus since there is no realm, and because it is conditioned, like the object to be focused upon, there are objects of focus, etc., and so on. Therefore, how does the Yogacara school say that when I do not see because the nature of the completely imputed is non-existent, and also do not grasp the nature of the dependent as a cause, and therefore do not truly see accordingly, at that time, all objects of focus are pacified? Thus, it is only that the characteristic of the completely imputed is non-existent, but the characteristic of the dependent is existent. Moreover, as long as one manifestly clings to the dependent as the nature of the completely imputed, that is always the side of defilement. When one does not manifestly cling to the dependent as the nature of the completely imputed, then that is the side of purification. The nature of the dependent is the transformation of the basis, the unchanging perfectly established, and the non-inverted perfectly established, which is Suchness, and also called Correct Wisdom, which also exists in the ultimate sense. Thus, it shows the refutation of the treatises that make such calculations. Here, in the view of the Madhyamikas, both the object to be focused upon and the mind that focuses upon it in the ultimate sense are without inherent existence. Moreover, they are also conditioned in the conventional sense by way of dependent origination, and because they are conditioned, they arise from other conditions, and therefore do not arise from their own inherent existence. Just as the object to be focused upon is without inherent existence, so too the mind that focuses upon it is without inherent existence. Therefore, all objects of focus of the dependent and the perfectly established are reversed, which is that all objects of focus are pacified. That is the ultimate truth, the nature of the signless and the absence of signs, non-dual, inexpressible, saying that it transcends thought, is unborn, and is the individual wisdom of the noble ones. | Unborn and unceasing | The nature of reality is the same as Nirvana | Thus it is shown. The pacification of elaboration is because only the meaning of the object to be focused upon does not exist, and therefore the characteristic of expression for that object does not allow elaboration. Thus it is said that only because all objects of focus are pacified, that inconceivable realm, thought and word

Because it prevents the proliferation of characteristics with biased views, proliferation is pacified. That is the ultimate truth where speech and the realm of mental activity cease. "Because speech ceases, because the realm of mental activity ceases." This is shown. Pacification is because it is free from all harm. That is to say, the harm of karma and afflictions arises from conceptualization, conceptualization arises from proliferation, and proliferation is stopped by emptiness. When speech and the realm of mental activity cease, and one realizes that the nature of phenomena, which is neither born nor ceases, is equal to nirvana, then one becomes pacified, free from all harm. This shows that it is the very nature of the ultimate truth. The Buddha Nowhere, to anyone, has taught any Dharma. This is because, in the ultimate truth, all phenomena are not completely established as the nature of the completely imputed, and because they are inexpressible. That is to say, because in the ultimate truth there is no nature of the completely imputed and no nature of speech, therefore, in the ultimate truth, the Buddha has not taught any Dharma to anyone at any time, thus showing that the opponent's argument is not established. Or, the Buddha Nowhere, to anyone, has taught any Dharma. This is because the suchness of Dharma is to be self-realized, and speech is the common object of the completely imputed, therefore, the suchness of Dharma is not to be taught. That is to say, the suchness of Dharma is to be self-realized, not to be taught by the speech of the completely imputed. Therefore, in the ultimate truth, the Buddha has not taught any Dharma to anyone at any time, thus showing that the opponent's argument is not established. If the Bhagavan has not taught any Dharma, then where do these sutras and so on, which possess the three vehicles, come from? Therefore, this would harm the established tenet. As an answer to this question, however, as a way of establishing conventional truth, the teacher, in order to benefit all beings, has accumulated immeasurable merit and wisdom for countless eons, and will certainly...
