To show that it will become a fault, because dependent arising is also not established, therefore it is said: Whatever is dependent arising, it also harms emptiness. Because it harms it, no action will exist, and initiating action will also not exist. If there is no action and agent, if it harms emptiness, the non-actor will also become an actor. Thus it was said. Now, to show that if one says that self-nature exists, then beings will become separated from various states, without arising and ceasing, and constantly existing, it will become a fault. Furthermore, if things themselves exist, then beings will be separated from various states, without being born and without ceasing, and will also constantly exist. They will be separated from various states such as color, shape, kind, and size, and will become like a picture drawn on a wall, because it is not made, so it will not be destroyed. Thus it was said. Now, to show that for the side that does not desire emptiness, it will become the fault of not being able to obtain what should be obtained, not being able to end suffering, and not being able to abandon afflictions. If emptiness does not exist, then there is no obtaining what has not been obtained, no action to end suffering, and no abandoning of all afflictions. Because the difference between what should be obtained in the world and beyond the world, and the action that ends suffering and its antidote cannot be done. Thus it was said. Because these are words with loopholes, so one does not desire that, therefore, to show that through dependent arising that suits the occasion, in the manner of the two truths, one promises that self-nature does not exist. Because one does not desire that, so even if one does not believe, one should promise that dependent arising does not arise from self-nature, but arises as a self-nature like illusion and mirage. Thus it was said. Now, to show that the yogi, with the eye of wisdom that is free from the faults of seeing things and non-things, sees that dependent arising is without self-nature, that person sees the four noble truths. To show the conclusion, therefore, in that way things and
